I remember castillos pressure, and Pac doesnt do anything that castillo did in his prime. Castillio imposed his size, and his will, not to mention he fought him in the phonebooth. That is NOT what pac is going to do, let alone having the ability to cut the ring off. Castillo was a huge 135lber, on fight night he was huge. That is NOT how pac would fight him at all.

When Cotto used his jab I saw Manny's head getting snapped back I will tell you that much. When Cotto moved Manny caught up to him and put pressure on him. Manny fought the fight he needed to to beat Cotto and make it look easy too. As for the fight with FMJ Manny has lots of tools and his biggest tool is his heart. I always said you cannot measure the size of a fighters heart....Lefty

pac will be up in his grill but using in and out movement using speed and combinations. pac might land 2 out of 5 but he will win rounds. pac will beat floyd, his style is al wrong for floyd.

Id like nothing more than to see that mayweather come out again. Nobody can argue that in the ring mayweather just throws his hands in the air and gives up, that guy will do whatever it takes to win if hes behind.

              Cheers.

He does have heart but i also think his mentality makes fights closer than they need to be. If he got out of his envelope more often some of those fights would not have been close imo. He mainly gets out of his envelope when he has to and im thinking that there are times when he might have left it to late, most notably Castillo.

I would say the reason for that is that Mayweather enjoys putting on a defensive clinic like other people like putting on offensive displays. IMO he enjoys making you miss & countering more so than knocking you out, that is why some guys are better offensively than they are defensively, its whats in your head/heart to do.

Manny caught up to him because cotto slowed down, at the point where cotto got on his bike, he was in survival mode and simply couldnt keep it up the whole fight. Its not like manny simply cut the ring off and imposed his size and unloaded, hell no. Manny WAITED until he slowed up and cotto still thinking he could hurt him, continued to exchanged THATS when he caught up to him.

Remember when manny threw his arms in the air in frustration when cotto circled and just threw his jab and didint engage? thats what im saying is alarming.

I know about his telegraph hook, and I wasnt saying floyd didnt do the same thing. I was just pointing out that what he did was not something a one dimensional fighter does. DLH was more stationary than hatton yes, but my point was cotto didnt start stationary, but by the end of 4 he didnt have a choice. He could stand there and get knocked out or he could retreat and throw pop shots and end up losing anyway.

Also would like to point out im not hatin on mayweather. hes nasty. but if i never hear another dumbass comment by him again it would be to soon. with that said he completey dominated the last person that actually gave manny a run for his money. yeah marqez was slowed a little bit from the extra weight he had to gain, but floyd showed his skills.

Good post bro! i like manny i think he's a great fighter can't take that away from him. i've been watching boxing for a long time and i can tell you this styles make's fights. everybody manny have been fighting is a stationary fighter don't have great movement except for marquez who gave manny problem because he can box. mayweather is not going to take crazy chances people have to realize that pbf is a very smart fighter he can adjust in the ring not saying manny can't just haven't saw him do it. when cotto was keeping that jab out there i said if he can keep doing that he have a chance to win, but once he let his ego get the best of him and decided to slug it out that manny games he's punches are too quick he will catch you before you catch him and once he hit you it's goodnight baby. manny have never fought a fighter who's defense is that good and move that good he will get frustrated and that when mayweather will knock him out. not a good fight for manny at all.i'm a big fan of both so it's no hating here just real talk

I don't think Manny was frustrated if you look at his face on the way into the ring the guy wants to fight. he wants to give the fans a great performance. he wants back and forth exchanges he did the same thing to ODLH too. I think he trains for a war and is disappointed when he doesnt get one. To tell you the truth I am not sayign he will beat FMJ. I am not saying FMJ wont man handle him and outclass him like he did to JMM. What I am saying is you cannot down play his victory over Cotto by simply saying Cotto slowed down and got on his bike in survival mode. I mean that is too obvious my friend. When you asked how Manny would be prepared by Roach I answered you and you never replied too that post. I truly think Manny has the tools to give us what we have been waiting for a true test for FMJ and a great war....Lefty
