Is it a Junior Welter Weight fight?

No because the limit is 140.

Anything above that, and not above the 147 LIMIT, is pretty much a WW fight to me.

It could have been a 147 limit without the 145 stipulation, and they still probably would have come in at a very similar weight. Cotto came in at 146 against Clottey, so were talking about a measely pound right here. Plus they change weights so much come fight night often it really is splitting hairs.

      WW.

you clowns keep talking about, "oh cotto fought clottey at 146, 145 isnt that big of a deal"

well if pac is campaigning at WW, and they wanted cottos belt which was won at 147, how come roach didnt agree to fight at 146, let alone 147?

b/che knew that extra lbs would tax cottos body. Roach plans this ****...why are yall acting like this isnt roach's MO

I don't have the fight night weights, but I would assume that Cotto weighed around Jnr Middleweight.

He did have to put the title on the line, get your facts right before you post! Fran****so Valcarcel, the WBO President, told Cotto and Pac that this would have to be for the title. At first Cotto said it was not because it was at a catchweight but he was forced to defend it because Franky boy said that it was still under the welterweight limit, which is bull****! If it was a welterweight limit fight, then he should of been allowed to weigh the limit of 147. Either way it's no excuse and Pacman did his job and Cotto didn't! I am a Cotto fan, but he was dominated by Pacman. Pacman has earned my respect as a legitimate threat to anyone. Will Gayweather ever fight him, highly doubtful because he will do whatever he can to make the fight not happen. Gayweather will come with the bull**** that he is the attraction and should get 75% of the pot and Pac 25%, when everyone knows he couldn't attract flies to ****! If anything the fight should be 60% Pac, 40% Gayweather and that's being real generous!
