anywhere from a 141-147lbs is a welterweight limit. If anything 145lbs just made cotto more lean.

two pounds makes a huge difference, especially if you end up cutting mucle or too much fat.

he cut down to 145 so much that his body didnt rebound once hydrated.

    just like dela hoyas.

cotto looked like he was 145lbs lastnight. realistically, he was 145-150lbs. dudes usually goes back to 160 or close.

they forced him to cut too much weight and that was roaches plan. dude was weightdrained...no questions aasked

no im saying that the welterweight division spans from 141-147... they dont HAVE to weigh 147 to be in the WW division... Seeing as the wbo sanctioned the fight, and cotto chose to defend it, i think ur the only one that has a problem with those punk ass 2 lbs....

          excuses, excuses.

he weight exactly 1 lbs heavier against Clottey, plus he started a full month before Pac, which meant he wasn't CUTTING weight to get there.

Cotto never should have either if you want to apply certain things all around. Cotto won it by default because Paul Williams moved out of the division.

and how much did he weigh on fight night against CLottey? now contrast what with his weight on fight night with Pac. cotto was thin as **** last night

his body didnt rebound after hydrating b/c of having to make 145. so that tells you how hard it is to cut 1 lbs. thus you see the toll it takes on your body too

we arent talking about 1lbs of water weight. this is dry weight

cotto shouldnt have agreed to 145 weight. its his fault and he lost as a result. but 145 wasnt good for cottos body

to some it may hold true but for cotto? he was 146 in his last fight. going down to 145 doesnt necessarily mean cutting muscles or lossing to much fat. its 1 pound.. for chissake
