Give me a break dude. Mosley and Hopkins are holding their spots hostage while Paul Williams has been a lot more active than those guys have. And Mosley straight up ducked Paul, so that should be taken into consideration as well. JMM should obviously fall a couple spots. But not too many because he moved outside of his element. And Calderon? Please.
If Cotto wins...who's P4P #1?

personally i wouldn't put shane as high as he is.that ranking is utter bull****.it makes the bcs seem fair.
paul williams would defo be top 5 for now, though i think martinez is going to ko him, but we'll leave that for a diffrent day
.i'd put pac cotto may and williams as my top four depending on the outcome tommorow.
i'd put cotto at 1 and floyd at 2 just to make floyd want the fight

in terms of achievements:
floyd > cotto (even after cotto beats pac)
coming from a smaller weight class and beating just about everyone else during his era plays a huge factor here. sure you may argue that pbf hasn't fought any top welters lately, but it's still an impressive resume, a welter weight fight is now just a bonus.
the only reason we keep downplaying this guy's resume is because of pac, but it doesn't mean that pbf hasn't done ****. if we didn't see pac's rise into higher weights, pbf's weight jumping feats would still be unsurpassed. if anyone still doubts pbf's achievements, let me ask you a question: do you think cotto can get as many wins, jumping in as many weights as pbf did in his run?
in terms of skills:
floyd > cotto

Going from Welterweight to Lightheavy/Cruiser is a lot harder to do than what Floyd did. The smaller divisions are separated by less weight. Cotto should be ranked over Floyd if he wins this fight.in terms of achievements:

it's not like pbf just fought some b-class fighters on his way to the top for vacant belts. he faced decent opponents/champions while steadily rising up in divisions to claim his status. this guy isn't just a one hit wonder and he was pretty consistent.
i'm gonna stop right here and wait for the floyd stans to debate with you because honestly, i feel dirty defending this guy after that circus with jmm, but it doesn't take away the fact that his resume is more solid than anyone else (except pac).Comment

Cotto worked his ass off*just look at his resume for proof, if he does win I think he might deserve to be the number 1 spot. But thats why how come Floyds been gone from this sport for 2 ****ing years and beats a guy who never fought above 135 but is some how the number 2 spot?
