          no way. jmm only looked good cause he did good against pac not to mention he didnt beat pac who's style is tailor made for him. i think his win against diaz is his biggest career win

              Hell no. Even if he could still compete today, I do not know who will he have to beat to be considered as better of the two. No disrespect to JMM, he is really known for the 2 non-wins against pac. He could have done more though had he been managed better.

                  The reason why Marquez does not have the acclaim that the great Morales and Barrera had is because he wasted the first half of his career becoming a chicken.

                  Who could forget how Marquez did a "mayweather" on their supposed immediate rematch with Pac.

                  Even Morales commented that JMM lacked the balls to be great.

                  It was only on the 2nd part of JMM's career that the warrior and true elite in him came to materialize.

                  But its a case of too little too late maybe.
