He's soften up he would've beaten J. Clottey easily if it weren't cause of his previous battles. Mosley was much more of a challenge, but Miguel didn't look as nearly as bad as he did with Miguel. If J.Clottey would've fought the same Cotto that fought Mosley Miguel wouldn't have trouble with him. Miguel is clearly not the same.
Mosely fight was damn close actually. People act like it was a wide UD. He had to run in the last 3 rounds.

He had to hit Judah in the balls when he was hurt.

He got hit and dropped a few times by Torres.

He wasn't exposed by bums like Gomez and Jennings because they don't have it in them.

He fought well VS Tony but his stamina made him slow down because he can't keep up that pace.

I think Cotto is a quality fighter, but don't make him out to easily beat Clottey. Clottey is a good fighter and did very well VS Marg and made Judah do soem silly **** with his cut.

Why do you think they were comparing him with Gatti? Because Cotto even though he has technic likes to put on a fight. He isn't this fast pace fighter that runs away from contact. He's willing to take some punishment as long as he can dish some out.
      1) there is no proof of plaster

      2) you should just ignore anybody that compares cotto to gatti

cotto can beat margo if he makes a few adjustments.

I am not going into the discussion of Cotto beat Mosley, but if he did thats is not the point. You're just helping out the fact that Cotto's been hurt. All these fighters have been avoided, but Cotto took them on. And thanks to Margacheater and the rest of his battles, plus his car accident he might really be shot. Those are facts he got hurt and he isn't as tough as he use to be.

cotto's always been hurt!!! it didn't just start w/ the margo fight... he's always been getting hurt ever since 140 lbs.

don't just blame it on margo... that's just the kind of fight cotto is... he is not shot or ruined... he's just a pretty good boxer who has a leaky defenes.

You admit he's been hurt, but yet you don't admit he might not be as strong as before. Getting hurt in battles is what eventually turns you into a shot fighter.

He might not be as shot as others , but he definitely can't take the same punishment as before. He was a lot more hurt against Margarito and almost made the twelve round. Now Clottey had no plaster, but yet Miguel was exhausted.

No one can't denied that if Miguel had the same fight he did with Margarito he wouldn't last 11 rounds, because he isn't capable of taking the same amount of punishment.

cotto is what he's always been... a very good boxer w/ leakey defense. he is not shot... especially at 27 years old.

If I am not wrong i think it sounded like mangler. I finally figured it out MANGLER = GOMEZ

pac was 106 at 15 years old, when he debuted at pro. cotto fought with calderon at that same weight, when he was 13 years old. calderon beat cotto at 106

                      cotto isn't 27, he's 29
