Yeah, tell that to Billy Collins, Jr., right?!

Once ou establish your quality and fan base it doesn't matter who you face ou will get paid and Cotto has been a fighte that has earned it because he always shows up to fight without ducking nobody and it his agressive, bloodful style that generates that fanbas and Millions. If he was not generating the money do you think Arum will be paying it????
I understand that he has fought tough opponents at 147. But he has been spoiled due to the paydays. Nothing to really complain about from a fan, because if you have a whole country behind you, you are gonna get big paydays to fight guys like Gomez and Jennings. I'm just saying that when you get big paydays to fight whoever, it takes your hunger away, and you feel like you can get out while you can. That is what Cotto is saying he's gonna do. Too little, too late though because I think he's taken enough punishment throughout all of the hard fights he's been in to be slurring his words like Vargas. And he'll be a ******ed vegetable after the Pac Man gets done with him.

Retirement for a boxer who still has so much fight in him would be a real tragedy.

Once again the millions are coming because he has earned it. And he has a country behind him because he has earned it. Quintana and Cintron are from the same country but the haven't accomplished what Cotto has. In order words they have not earned it. Don't think Cotto has lost his hunger, he has been saying that he will retire at 30 for more than 5 years already when we was not even making the millions. True that he has taken punishment, that's part of boxing and the type of fighter he is, a true warrior that goes in the ring to fight and brawl, that can also get him hurt but I bet that you would rather pay to see him fight than a defensive fighter that just throws enough punches just to win the fight.
On your last statement I won't even comment because that is your opinion. A very ******ed one I must add.

I actually think Cotto is in his prime still and shouldn't even think about retirement. This lame's opinion doesn't matter.

Pintor just still hurt being for dropped by Gomez now he wants to diminish Cotto. If he's retired he should mind his own business...forgive the abrasiveness but the only thing that gives orders is balls, only they tell when its time to leave the game.

Of course Pacquiao is gonna retire after a couple more fights probably. But the difference is, he's got less to prove than Cotto.

you mean Manny fights fighters who are ABOUT to retire....he doesn't retire them....

yes, cause it would be unreasonable to give credit to pacquiao.

he will have absolutely nothing to do with cotto losing.
