Well, his days at the top are over if he loses Saturday to a LW regardless of the quality of said fighter....If he loses he should only continue if he is ok with being a gatekeeper opponent, it would be hard for him to restore his rep losing to Pac, especially if Pac fights Floyd and get beaten badly later on.

He was 106 pounds when he was 16. Cotto fought at 100 pounds as an am at 14. It's dumb logic.

I thought Cotto had childhood obeasity, it is well documented. In the Shane fight as he was walking to the ring Lamply says he was fighting in 2007 (147) a few pounds under where he started as an amature.

bottom line cotto is the bigger guy and shouldn't lose to someone coming up in weight. that's shameful.
It is not that we are so emotional and it has not been only the Cotto stans that has have expose you with your pathetic theory of the former 106lbs. If you don't beleive me look at the responses on this thread to your post from everybody. You have been exposed over and over again.

We all know that Cotto will be heavier but Pacman has a great chance of winning becaiuse of other advantages that he has against Cotto. We all know your stans about "Cotto being to big, and how he shouldn't lose to a former 106lbs and Cotto would walk thru Pacman's punches" etc.....

But you know what is "SHAMEFUL"? People like you posting here with so many pathetic stans and lack of credibility and I dont want you, to beleive me, that's why I have brought several of your own past post contradicting yourself, to expose you again.

What is it Pullcounter??? Either Cotto is too big and should not lose to a former 106 lbs (theory on which you have been exposed already) or is Pacman going to beat Cotto with his boxing skills and speed. You can't have it both ways.

IF YOU ASK ME YOU CONTINUE TO BE PATHETIC, EXPOSED AND YOU HAVE JUST LOST YOUR CREDIBILTY (IF ANY) IN THIS FORUM.

IT'S NOT THAT WE ARE EMOTIONAL, IT'S THAT MOST OF US HERE, WHETHER WE ARE FROM COTTO'S STANS OR NOT, ARE MORE INTELLIGENT THAN POSTERS LIKE YOU!!!!!!!

He weighted 150 pounds when he was 13, he took boxing as a weight loss program and the next year or 2 he was weighting 100 pounds, Lampley didnt said a few pounds below his amateur weight, he said a few pounds lowe than when he was a 13 year old boy.

LMAO...Cotto loses one fight cause a guy has cement in his gloves and now he should retire?

Well if Cotto gets layed out like Hatton, then yes he needs to retire, but if he loses a competitive fight, don't think so, don't see what's up the PRs asses today, its just an opinion relax, thought all you guys knew Cotto was gonna win.

wtf? cotto's only loss has come to tony "brick hands" margarito.

losing to pacquaio(the p4p#1 fighter on the planet) isn't a good reason to call it quits and doesn't prove that cotto isn't prime.

LOL@ Pull Counter and everyone else who says that Pac is too fast for Cotto to hit but Pac was hit with no problems by the slower & smaller Marquez so I dont see why it will be such a problem for Cotto to hit Pac.

And why is everyone speaking about Manny's speed and forgetting about Cottos power? Cotto has faced fast fighters before BUT Cotto has NEVER fought a fighter as strong as Miguel Cotto
