cotto won't be able to hang w/ the speed. he's too slow. cotto needs to forget about speed... he needs to take 1-4 punches to land 1 of his own. FOR SURE an elite WW must pac a bigger punch than a former 106 lber and that will be pac's downfall.

if cotto gets cute, and tries to counterpunch he will get beat to the punch every ****in time!!!!! believe this!!!!
See, no one is calling you out because you are a Cotto hater or anything of the sort. Its the fact that you keep posting that Paq was a former 106 pounder which is also true. But what you constantly leave out is that he was 15 at the time and was still developing hair on his balls. Just like Cotto was 100 pounds when he was 14, so in actuality, using your ******ed gorilla way of analyzing this fight Cotto is the smaller man.

This guy is right in the sense that if an elite welterweight like Cotto can't beat a lightweight, then he has no business in the ring anymore. It would prove what most suspect, that the Magarito beating caused permanent damage.

Ya Cotto took a beating from Marg and no doubt the beating affected him it showed in the Clotty fight, but i dont think he should retire.

you guys think I'm some kinda hater... I'm not. In fact I defend cotto a lot! especially when people say cotto is shot or ruined because of the margo fight. I also am very vehement that cotto simply fought the wrong fight against margo and can win the rematch if he implements a few adjustments. I also am very forceful in believing that cotto beat clottey where a hater would say cotto lost that fight. So which is it? Am I a hater or am I a hugger or am I actually the only impartial mutha****er on these boards?

But your analogy of 106 lbs has no substance so many years later.

that's why I say "former" not "current" 106 lber.
