Just got back from Dawson-Johnson, terrible crowd

Even though Dawson is not as boring as Cory Spinks even Spinks draws more fans in his home town. Lol. Maybe Chad needs Nelly or Young Joc to walk him into the ring and Chad should dance to the music.

It's more of a problem of the actual state he's in. Tonight was the first big title fight in Hartford, CT in about 20 years. Is it really that strange that there wasn't a big boxing audience ready to by tickets to a fighter who isn't "entertaining"?

All things aside, what Dawson actually did inside the ring was actually quite impressive. His skill is clearly top 10 at least.

Bad news, but how many fights has Dawson had in Connecticut.

Black fighters that aren't from fight towns (even some that are) will always have a hard time drawing a crowd. Mayweather went through it, Mosley, etc. I probably could give more examples if I took some time to research.

Dawson fought good, he has good power and probably would have ko'd fighters with less of a good chin. Like anyone except Glen Johnson...... Dawson could probably benefit from being more aggresive but he hit Johnson with everything but the kitchen sink and the dude was still there.
