Cleverly is a good prospect but he is unproven past the British domestic scene. He shouldn't be considered as a possible opponent for Dawson.

He should be focusing on fighting Pascal or Cloud.

BTW, Dawson weighed 191 last night. He'd shed a lot of weight to make 168.

Dawson fought the right fight to beat Johnson. He would of been a fool had he went at Johnson and tried to trade with him or tried to knock him out.

I was impressed with Dawson on how easily he beat Johnson the second time considering how much trouble Johnson caused him in the first fight.

Dawson gets hit way too much to consider him one of the best in the world. His fights are way closer than they should be if he's as good as they make him out to be. I give him props for rematching Johnson though. He should have done it last year (like Mayweather did with Castillo when their first fight was close), but he waited until he had no other options.

They would've been better suited to put this at Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun, the casinos.

Anyways, when I saw the fight live, I had it much closer, like the 2 judges, 115-113, but it must've been because of the negative crowd. After watching on HBO it was amazing how much I didn't take in Chad's dominance in the fight the first time.

Unfortunately for me, the poor performance of this fight in terms of ticket sales probably means I won't get to see anymore good boxing 10 minutes away from my house. Thanks a lot Connecticut. All you boxing fans from Connecticut who see this and didn't go to this fight should be ashamed. You have a vested interest in attending fights in your area and you made a terrible showing.

So anyways, Chad Dawson is one hell of a fighter and he'll be here for a while, so get used to it.
Have you got any pics from last night?

The turnout was the most upseting for me, believe me. Whether you like Chad Dawson or not, how would you like it if you went to a fight 10 minutes away and after seeing the turnout realizing you probably won't get this opportunity again? I'm utterly disgusted with the turnout for this fight, and the crowd itself was miserable.

I realize Chad is not Arturo Gatti, but it's a little ridiculous when your hometown boos you.

Anyway, even though the crowd ****** and Chad didn't KO Johnson, I thought he did a damn good job in firming his claim as the best LHW in the world. His talent cannot be overlooked.
Who says you have to get battered and pull a few fights out of your @ss to be well liked?

Chad had all the advantages going for him and all he could give us was that !? WTF

I had Chad winning by a huge margin, but, did he impress me, not at all! I expect more out of a guy who seems to have the skillset/athleticism to make more out that fight.

The reality of it is, Glen Johnson is an awkward foe to deal with. Chad's responsibility is to make something happen!

Maybe if Hartford wasn't such a toilet more people would show up. I'm surprised they got the HBO team to go there without rubber suits on.

Another thread full of monkeys, clowns, and novices.

There are plenty of sites dedicated to ur fav fighter, mma, toughman comp, etc.... This is a boxing site where real BOXING FANS discuss and appreciate the BOXERS. You all are incapable of appreciating the subtle nuances that take place in the ring. Its cool though, come 15 Nov half of u clowns will be hiding in sheer shame and anger and confusion and sorrow. While the rest dissect what ur god did wrong and what the other fighter did right.

Did you go to the show at Mohegan on Halloween? There were many moments when the whole crowd was just absolutely quiet during the fights I never seen anything like it.

No, sorry buddy. My camera ****ted out after like 2 pictures.

I did get one pic of Angulo right before he KOed Yorgey, but I'm too lazy to put up one picture.
