Just got back from Dawson-Johnson, terrible crowd

The fight didn't sell enough tickets so we got bumped up to $100 tickets. This is great for me, bad for Chad Dawson and the city of Hartford. During the fight, people booed even though Dawson was dominating the entire time. I know he's not the most exciting fighter, but this was a terrible display of a an amateur crowd. They would've been better suited to put this at Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun, the casinos.

Anyways, when I saw the fight live, I had it much closer, like the 2 judges, 115-113, but it must've been because of the negative crowd. After watching on HBO it was amazing how much I didn't take in Chad's dominance in the fight the first time.

Unfortunately for me, the poor performance of this fight in terms of ticket sales probably means I won't get to see anymore good boxing 10 minutes away from my house. Thanks a lot Connecticut. All you boxing fans from Connecticut who see this and didn't go to this fight should be ashamed. You have a vested interest in attending fights in your area and you made a terrible showing.

So anyways, Chad Dawson is one hell of a fighter and he'll be here for a while, so get used to it.

Dawson fights for himself not the fans, he doesn't realize the fans are the ones responsible for his paychecks. And of course the crowd was booing, Dawson literally ran at times in the fight like a *****.

Adamek-Johnson or Adamek-Cunningham II in New Jersey would have been a packed house and more exciting fights, yet HBO's Ross Greenburg didn't want those fights.

Boxing fans pay to see a fight not a ballet.

Even idiots wont argue with that.

Especially w ur economy. MOney is hard to come by.

Dawson should have respected the fans by at least trying to make it a fight.

        U r correct though.

Nobody is gonna buy tickets for crap performances put on by Dawson against an overmatched opponent.

Fedor threw that right hand without ****ing it back or anything. He got some serious power if he knocked that bear down with it.

haha when fighters sign a contract...fans are not considered third party beneficiaries...therefore, he can fight however he wants to win..this is evident from the fans who tried to sue over the tyson fight and lost

Without the ****ing fans boxing wouldn't exist. So you don't know what the **** you're talking about. These are entertainers, I don't watch fights and expect for them to be as entertaining as watching paint dry. Bad Boring ass Dawson is as entertaining as watching paint-dry.

                  Without them boxing wont exist.

Are u really that ****** or something?

                  No fans = no sport

People dont pay to see a prime guy run from a past-prime, overmatched and slow dude.
