Floyd wanted to fight Winky...anyway why don't we just chill and wait til he actually announces a fight before pre-empting his decision and hating him....it shows how eager people are to hate on Floyd that they are anticipating a decision that hasn't been made yet!
It's not often that boxers decide their next opponent a month after their last fight, especially when their 2 biggest possible opponents are about to face off....wait a couple months after Pac-Cotto for the dust to settle.
We don't see topics everyday about how Mosley should have fought this man or that man since his Margarito fight so just give Floyd and yourselves a break and let's enjoy the upcoming fights that have been announced!Comment

Mr boat buyer's ****suckers would follow him off a cliff like lemmings if they had to. They insecure as fuck, just like he is. If you want him to fight a tough WW fight, you 'hate' him and 'want him to lose.'Real boxing fans>****ridin stans.

No i don't. i don't "pray" on your downfall Floyd, but i do question your heart when it comes to the possibility....of losing the most precious thing in the world to you. That precious "0". Seem like so far, you won't fight any of the other ww's that stand a chance of beating you.
I'm still waiting. Take some of these guys on and win me back as one of your biggest fans! Even if you lose, i will gain more respect for you than i have right now, which is i respect you came back, but the JMM fight was bs, fight real ww's.Last edited by jazluvr; 11-01-2009, 02:41 PM.Comment

Who cares when Shane wanted to fight, if you can fight Floyd then you fight Floyd on whatever terms, but you dont say you have a toothache and want to take a family vacation, that can wait. Obviously his wife at the time had more influence on him and called the shots. Explain why Shane needed 10 million in 1999 to fight Floyd, he didnt want the fight, but now that he sees it as his biggest payday and all roads lead through Floyd, he wants the fight, who wouldnt? Floyd is the top dog, dogs dont bark at parked cars, Shane had his chance, he blew it, just chalk it up as a learning experience and do better next time Shane.
So if not Cotto, Pacquiao and Mosley then who??Comment

Hell, Floyd didn't lie with the "you pray on my downfall' statement. Boxingscene is full on 'boxing fans' that make posts about a fighterthey dislike (Mayweather), more so than fighters they actually follow, even when their fav is scheduled to fight soon. When Floyd runs through whatever laundry list of fighters that folks chat about-Shane, Cotto, Pac, everybody is going to all of a sudden turn to PWill when they truthfully pray for him to lose also. Next thing you know, Floyd'll be ducking Andre Berto and or Tim Bradley in these guys eyes. Damn, Floyd just fought a little over a month ago and he is certainly past the 4 fight per years stage. If Floyd didn't wait to see what happens on Nov 14 he'd be a fool and the folks that crucify him know it. Floyd makes a fight with Shane now and they'll say that he's ducking the Nov 14 winner. Damned if you do....Last edited by goldenglove2; 10-31-2009, 05:53 PM.Comment

I have no problem with Floyd NOT fighting Mosley. But the problem is you gotta fight someone. But anytime Floyd talks about why he doesnt wanna fight Mosley it's followed up by the question if he would fight Pacquiao or Cotto. And Floyd always responds with how Arum dont wanna do business with him and runs through the same laundry list of reasons why he wont fight either of them.
So if not Cotto, Pacquiao and Mosley then who??Comment

My favorite of all time is Trinidad. And, I remember everytime he fought somebody I was demanding his next fight be against a better opponent. Not cuz I prayed for hoping he lose. On the contrary I was his biggest fan. So I never wanted his legacy to get short changed. So I was never ever satisfied when he was fighting. Now that he is retired IMO he is ATG and I he is the main reason I became a hardcore fan.
So I don't get all you Floyd fans. You guys are not really boxing fans. Of course if he beats Shane, Cotto, Pac. Then P-Will should be the next logical choice. If he beats P-Will then it should fight the next best fighter. As long as he keeps fighting you guys his fans should be asking, wanting, demanding him proving his greatnest against the best every single time. Not defending him every single time. Why can't you guys see that...
Nobody is hoping he losses, nobody is praying for his downfall. Is quite the opposite everybody wants to see his true greatness. Everybody wants him to fight the best and if he remain undefeated fighting the best. We as boxing fans will be in awe about it. However, him fighting lesser opponents proves absolutely nothing.Comment
