Why did Calzaghe fight Manfredo who was a natural Middleweight? Because Manfredo was ready and willing. Right?

Im sure Martinez wants it at 160 too, its a paycheck and he gets to keep his belt, you cant beat that.

"had no problem" can still mean that martinez didn't want to lose his belt at 154.

Im exeptionally glad to see this fight almost get done, but things are not looking good for Martinez. Short notice, weight & Pwill that's a big risk for Martinez. I just hope Pwill doesn't do him like Margarito did, Martinez ( my favorite boxer style wise ) has gotta be admired for his balls on this one it is a big risk. Good luck!

Pac's weight . stop ragging Cotto for no reason.

how so? just because Pac's going to 145 for Cotto?

and even Cotto doing it has to come in at a catchweight vs Pac.

Cotto and Floyd have went out of their way to do it while other opponents their size or bigger would've been glad to fight them.
first of all look how long it took Pacquiao to fight at 140 and 147. he's only had three fights at 140 or higher (vs Hatton, DLH) ... with vs Cotto being the third

so don't be so dumbfounded by "Pacquiao being able to compete at 140 + 147" .... not like Manny's been their his whole career.

keep in mind Pac left Super Feather because of weight struggles (which is why no immediate JMM fight)

and gradually moved up fighting next at 135 and you know the rest

don't look now but Pac's height and short reach of 65 inches matches the reach of Ricky Hatton. and at 5'6 Ricky was one of the better fighters at the weight class. Manny Pacquiao is right around that height

so why so surprised about Pac's success?

but yes I feel pound for pound has much to do with it, in regards to Cotto not getting crap as fighting vs a top Pound for Pound fighter will bring much more attention and publicity

and how is Cotto going "out of his way to do it" as yes Pac's the one fighting at Welter, but is Cotto really benefiting any from the fight being at 145?

Paul Williams AKA The journey man

I think Paul Willams will pass as a Journey man history. This guy is wasting too much time, where the guy that says he can do 147 - 160? Now he is so ***** that dont want to win a real WBC title from sergio martinez? If paul williams want to develope a real name in boxing it must be fighting real activr fighter, not fighing the like of winky wright, and the other last guy at 160. paul need to come to a weigh and begun to win real title on it, not some interim crap. Paul stop being so bithcy and whore, and fight Sergio at 154 , win ther WBc title, then fight Daniel Santos or The *** for the WBA title, then fight Cory spinks for the WBO title, and then fight whoever has the IBF. If you want to win credentials by fighting and not for talkking, Do what all the so called champions refuse to do, UNIFIED, BE UNDISPUTED CHAMPION, BRING REFRESHMENT TO THE FANS, and thenn you will find the fight you want. STOP LYING, CRYING AND BEEING SO BITHC.
