I like Paul Williams but what I don't get about him is...

This is why I am not a fan of very many boxers from The U.S, they all have this attitude that they are big stars and X-Millions of dollars isn't enough to fight whoever because they claim someone isn't notable.....even when they themselves are not that notable really.

It was after the Cotto-Clottey fight. It was true. No reply from the William's camp after the challenge from Clottey. This was also one of the reason why I felt Williams is also selective and felt he deserve a big fight.

You know what I mean though, the casual fans know who Winky, Pavlik is and most remember Sturm from the DLH fight. The three that are after him are tougher than those three that I said he needs(he already fought Winky) for sure.

I hear ya, although Sturm isn't known by ANY casual fan. And obviously, he tried to fight Pavlik. Tough situation for the dude. But, like I said, I love his attitude and his willingness to back up the talk. It'll work out for him.

Margarito's resume was worse than Paul Williams' resume is right now before he got his final big fight against Cotto. The best wins on Margarito's resume were Clottey and Martinez. Williams already has Margarito's scalp and a win over Winky Wright (inactive or not). It's still a win over a quality named opponent. Margarito fought like once or twice a year. Williams has fought a lot more often than that until this year. Pavlik is partly to thank for that.
