The only thing that Paul Williams did that kind of turned me off as a fan was be difficult in the negotiations with Pavlik. But that is because he had some leverage to use because HBO was fed up with Pavlik. Other than that, the guy fights everybody who is willing.

I don't mind P-Will at 147. If he can make the weight then so be it. And, I agree that Shane should fight him. But, so should Floyd, Cotto, and whoever is campaigning at that weight. I just have a problem with everybody is singling Shane out. It makes no sense.

I also think P-Will is making it difficult on himself. If he campaigns at 1 weight like 154 and fights Martinez, Dzinziruk, Kirkland, Quintana, Clottey. His name will become bigger. Where fighters like Floyd, Cotto, Shane will have no choice but to fight him.
