Mikkel Kessler? Overrated??

i am not writing ward off at all,i give him a good chance of winning but my guy instinct is that kessler will take it.i rate ward and think he will do very well in the tourney
i never wrote dirrel off either but though froch would win by late KO,turns out everyone underestimated him and he was very unlucky not too get the decision as he outboxed froch for the majority of the fight

Kessler is good but he is the most overrated fighter today by far.

How is it that in a division full of so much potential, that just a couple years ago it was easily the most overlooked weightclass in boxing make a complete 360 turn a round and easily be one of the most talented today?

All i'm sayin is Kessler ain't no Ali. The only time he's ever been tested was his debut on HBO against an oppenent who ranks in the top 10 most overrated fighters of all time in Calzaghe, and he was outclassed!

And yet with all these great contenders out there and possible match-ups waiting to happen, that The number 1 rank easliy outclasses every single individual including rank 2-10? To the point where in this tournament before Kessler even fought that he is such a huge favorite to easily beat every single fighter with one handtied behind his back?

Was Kessler outclassed by Calzaghe??
He was only 2 points down at the end of the fight + he addapted and won last round toe to toe and won the first half of the fight pretty clear.

To me he lost a close one.

I agree. he just fought calzaghe at the peak of his powers and still did very well. he had calzaghe holding on at the end. he's gonna be very hard to beat at least for the next 5 years or so, I hope he gets the defining fights he deserves
