His biggest advantage over Ward is his routine. Kessler is very solid.
Besides versus Calzaghe, Kessler has lost very few rounds in his entire career. Everyone has gotten either KO’d or been dominated throughout the fight.
Maybe Kessler would have a better resume if he’d been with another promoter, especially the last two years. But you can’t blame Kessler for it – he fixed it now.

I think he's underrated more so than overrated on here anyway. People don't give him any credit for beating top 10 super middleweights before the Calzaghe fight.

just because hes a european fighter who some people are picking too beat americas undefeated prospect does not make him over-rated.
he is the most expierienced and most skilled guy in the tourney

How come everytime something negative is said about a european fighter that ppl automatically jump to the conclusion that it's an american vs europe thing or a black vs white thing? How come ppl cant just state opinion. Just becuz I made a Kessler thread don't mean I Hate on Europeans.

Idk really, Does Kessler have an Amatuer Background?

ye he has a very impressive amature background from what i hear
i havent really seen him being over-rated that badly too be honest, the reason he is favourite is because we know what he can do whereas with dirrell and ward they are pretty untested.we also dont know any major weaknesses he has in comparison with froch and taylor for example.

Really it's just what I read on here. I just think ppl are jumpin the boat too quick. Let him Dominate Ward, and ppl can say watever they want about him being the favorite, Cuz it'd be true. But your Writing Ward off too quickly/easily.
PPl wrote Dirrell off too, On Paper it looks like Froch Dominates, Hell Dirrell was the least tested there. Not many expected him to go all 12 and most argue he was robbed. I'm saying, was he tested now? Does Abraham dominate him be he has "More Experience"?

But I agree when he got beat by Calzaghe due to styles I dont think any weaknesses of kesslers were exposed.

When I say Kessler is Overrated, I do not mean in anyway at all "Ricky Hatton Overrated" Hell I still think he's a B+ rated fighter easy. But until I see a career defining fight from him that's all he'll be
