You read my post, tell me where I went wrong, and then why I should care about an imaginary ranking that anyone who watches boxing could just make up.

You came into this thread and started bitching, when no one forced you to open up the thread. If you wanted to have a look at my "imaginary" rankings and critisize them then fine and if you don't then don't. If I want to have "imaginary" rankings I will wether you care about them or not.Comment

He has a grand reputation and a lot of talent so that equates highly to a lot of experts.
I really do not question that Floyd is one of the two best fighters in the world currently, he has earned that spot.Comment

You can have them but hardly defend them with absolute certainty and no one could really say you were wrong either.....so whats the point? My issue is that they are taken into consideration with seriousness. So serious in fact that Pac is favored to beat Cotto on the basis that he is currently in the lead and captain now of an imaginary ranking.Comment

Not saying that but Floyd has proven quite a bit in his career as it is, right now in his comeback he has not done a lot but his whole career is pretty much on point which is why he is ranked so highly.

Thats why its so fun, different people = different opinions, we get to level things out and discuss about the sport and certain fighters, something other sports like baseball and intl soccer cant do because theyve got their rankings set up. We get to argue about it and you get different views on what should happen. Only thing Im saying is it brings a good debate on the subject, they're not really for anyone to take to heart.Comment

Well yeah, but it gives us something to talk about. imagine no lists, no belts no nothing, guys just fighting each other just for the fun it, it wouldnt be so fun. In my way I look at it as sort of defending my sport and arguien about the top dogs and who belongs there.Comment
