Whis is Floyd ranked at #2 or even #1 in some P4P lists???

    1. Manny Pacquiao
    2. Bernard Hopkins
    3. Shane Mosley
    4. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
    5. Juan Manuel Marquez
    6. Miguel Cotto
    7. Paul Williams
    8. Hozumi Hasegawa
    9. Nonito Donaire
    10. Vitali Klitschko

That is my list. Now I don't see how he can come out from retirement and fight an old fat JMM and climb all the way to #2. I mean is this was Mosley who came back and did this he would of even be considered to be put into the list, or that matter any welterweight. Pacquiao is #1 and righfully so, due to strong opposition and the way he handles them, #2 is Hopkins since its been a long long time since he had a real loss under him, that being 17 years, and he has just been a roll destroying opponents or lossing in highly controversial decisions, #3 goes to Mosley because he is acting liek a real fighter by fighting the best, destroying Margarito who was thought to be invisible and a guy Mayweather would have never fought alongside Cotto. And Mayweather is #4 based on pure talent, P4P lists shouldn't be ranked on pure skill, in that case make Calderon #2 and Williams #3, but thats not how it works. How do you have him in your list?

Reputation also Mosley and B-Hop have not exactly been active so it is easy to see how they got leap frogged.

why would you have Mosley ahead of Floyd?
He lost to Cotto and beat Marg. Not impressive.

Mayweather still was more inactive then both of them before he fought Marquez.

At least he fought them and acted like a champ in his division and cleaning it out, Mayweather never did that, he got the crown fro Baldomir, fought DLH just for the money, made a jr ww move up to ww so he can make even more money, retired came back and made a lw move up to ww so he can more money. Cotto (undefeated monster), Margarito (bigass ww)>>> Hatton (overrated jr ww), Marquez (a lightweight, nuff said)

Ummmm p4p rankings are a joke based entirely on imagination.....you could literally take any of the top fighters in any weight class and with some thought find a way to justify putting any of them anywhere you want...its total fiction not to be taken seriously

How is Floyd more inactive he fought recently, B-Hop had not fought in over a year and had nothing lined up until recently; Mosley last fought in January and still has nothing concrete set up. Looks about the same to me all will have 1 fight in 2009.

Mayweather hadn't fought in 18 months, Hopkins in 14, and Mosley in 12.
