The problem with Heavyweights is the Cruiser Weight division. Almost every single heavyweight could make the cruiser weight limit if they came in shape, so what we have now is a situation where the Cruiserweights get no coverage, and all the heavyweights are cruiser weights that are too lazy to make the weight.

        damn, thats a good comment.

I think the Klitchkos both walk around the cruiserweight limit, but put on weight for HW.. which is better than trying to shed weight.

Why are Americans so ethnocentric about this ****?

Quit crying about a by-gone era. Its OVER. Stop focusing on where the guy is from and enjoy them for being great boxers.

In a way its a form of racism imo because the implication is that if its not "American" its not as valuable.

American HW boxing was always a mirage anyways since for a large part of last century Cubans and Russians couldn't compete in the pro's.

You and your European bias, Europeans are dominating now, but it's not because European Heavyweights>>>>>>American Heavyweights. I think Eddie Chambers is the most skilled heavyweight behind the Klitschko brothers.

Bull ****, Muhammad Ali, Larry Holmes, Mike Tyson are the most skilled heavyweights in boxing history, no Cuban or Russian wouldn't beat them in their primes.

The American heavyweight with the best chance is probably Chambers. I hope Wlad clears up his injury soon so we can get that fight going.
