Have you ever noticed in any of the RH fights, he has never been in trouble. With the exception of Magee, dropped and hurt Hatton three years ago. One knockdown. He is always on his toes, bobbin n weavin. He always moves forward. KT also likes to move forward. But I don't think Hatton "can be made" to fight backing up. So that being said, it sounds like a head to head slug-fest. If it is a slugfest. Anything could happen in this fight, If Kostya wants to try and hold him out for a few rounds, I think that will work in his favor. But if he wants to have a toe to toe slugfest with him, obviously, there is risk involved in that, but either way he can adapt his style. But KT is smart and I think he will dance around Hatton, moving to his right or Hatton's left using his right hand as a primary. I also think KT would be unwise to slug it out with Hatton. KT needs to keep his distance. I see Hatton having success early on but slowly Tszyu will find the range and force the Hitman to stand and trade. Hatton needs to get close, underneath KT long punches. Hatton needs to keep his left hand up to avoid Tszyu's thunderous right hook. I think Hatton can get close and win the fight by late stoppage or points.
Although, here is a quote from Vince Phillips (only man to defeat Tszyu, lost to Hatton) "Hatton is world class and there are plenty of top fighters he can beat, but not Kostya Tszyu. Tszyu just hits too hard." Interesting statement , Huh! Ricky Hatton says if he can dodge Kostya Tszyu's right hand, he can topple the king of the light welterweights."My style is about workrate, pressure and pace while Tszyu is more of a patient fighter," Hatton said yesterday. "I believe I have the style to beat him but obviously I will have to be more cute and careful to avoid his main strength which is his right hand."
Hatton's legs are great shape and I don't expect his legs to buckle. Hatton can lift a mind-boggling 560kilos ( over 1200lbs) with his legs - nearly nine times his own bodyweight due to an intensive course of weights. He can lift a total of 35 tons in one complete leg session, which is 12 sets of 10 repetitions (120 lifts)." Legs are the most important muscles. He was looking more like 'Ricky Fatton' in his last fight, but after his new training program with weights, he is looking ripped. A huge panel of world champions, trainers, writers and promoters give the Hitman a serious chance of winning this weekend. On the downside, Hatton could get cut bad and the 'Fat Lady' will sing.Comment

I think Hatton will give Tszyu problems and has a good chance of beating him as long as he ****s the body and avoids the right hand of Tszyu...I have only seen a few Hatton fights but he looks like he has the stuff to get it done against anyone...Tszyu will check his chin though...if he can take a punch I would say Hatton by UD..he will outwork Tszyu over 12 roundsComment

My opinion (ha ha ha, not that anybody cares!) as I've posted on a few different threads is KT will win this. I do think it wont be nearly as easy as alot of people seeem to think cause Ricky does have a great body attack, and KT will get worked over some, but in the long run I look for it to end in a ko or a tko (cuts). I think the main challenge for Hatton is taking KT's right hand, which is a tall order for any boxer! Good luck to both guys though, and thanks to them both for giving us fans what should be a fantastic fight!
