I'll say what I always say: this is a ****** idea from Hatton's camp. If he wins, fair enough. But if he loses, he'll be cited as a "bum" and not given another chance. Why go right to the top, why not just build your name through contention?

If Junior Witter now lost to Kostya people wouldn't write him off totally post-Ndou... they would Ricky, sadly.

I think Hatton has a good chin, he's taken some heavy shots very well but Tszyu's power could hurt anyone.
Too small for me to see clearly, but I did think it looked like a genuine KD... are my eyes deceiving me? It looked like a meaty uppercut to me.

That said - he got straight away and wasn't even phased.

it was a genuine kd but hatton was off balance and got up strate away.with no problems
hatton can box-fight and it is a massive misconception in america that all he does is plod in and is there to be hit
he has brilliant head movment and make space on the inside
the one place he will better kostya is on the inside
i have changed my mind a few times as to who i think will win but im not backing hatton for ud
he will get stronger in the later rounds

He was off balance because he was throwing a shot, it didnt hurt him so its nothing to discredit his chin. My point is anyone could go down in a situation like that. Magee's a tough bastard too!!

I dont agree with the Witter point, IMO Ndou isnt as good as some fighters Hatton's already beat.

I do think Hattons taking a big risk and would rather see him face someone like Harris/Gatti first, but those guys wont fight him.

Hatton is confident and its the only option, i'd do the same in his situation.

I do like Hatton aswell - I read an interview he did on his website a week ago or so, and he's so brutally honest about everything!... He admits that he's a powerfull puncher, but not a concussive puncher like Tszyu etc.

            It's really worth a read...

I just saw on one of the other threads... What boxing needs to get itself back on the map? - Guy's like Hatton for a start... And rid of guy's like Mayweather, (run-ins with the law, and beating up women) + calling Gatti a "BUM" ???

I think my diss-like for Mayweather is starting to show

            ... LOL!...

Put Gatti vs Hatton on national TV around the world and the sport would be a hell of a lot more popular!!

I like what Mayweather brings to boxing(even though he's an *******) because he's easy to hate, i wanna see him KO'd!! And if that doesnt happen at least your'll see a skilled fighter at work.

Ricky Hatton is 26yrs old and is very very hungry.

If you cancel out the Mitchell 3 round fight - Fighting Ricky Hatton 26yrs old, younger, faster, hungrier, is a dangerous fight to come back to after a 2yr lay off?
Please bro. That was no gift against Lovemore. Tszyu was excellently prepared and motivated for Mitchell and it showed. He won't take Ricky lightly as he shouldn't but is just the better fighter and should take the fight.

Anything can happen though as Rick is much more capable than most are willing to admit.

I think KT KO's this guy within 6. N'Dou is a better fighter than any of Ricky Hatton's opponents anyway. The best fighter Hatton has fought was a washed up Vince Phillips & Vince hurt him pretty bad with an uppercut I believe. If KT lands that kind of leather, it's over for Hatton. If KT gets him in trouble, he'll finish Hatton unlike Phillips.

Both Phillips and Tackie would have beaten Ndou, that guys a zombie with little skill. I would have bet my house on Magee(pre injury) beating Ndou with ease.

N'Dou is a tough durable veteran that could push any Jr. Welter to the limit. If you saw the fight with him against Witter & how was getting blown out in the 1st half & came on strong in the 2nd half shows his heart & durability.
