I'm beginning to think Hatton will shock everybody and actually win a good deal of the early rounds with his fast pace but I think eventually Tszyu harder punches will start to get to Hatton in the middle rounds. Then Tszyu will begin to takeover and close out the final rounds strong and get a unanimous decision or possibly a mercy stoppage.

I thought it was obvious that Mitchell was slipping in his previous fight to Tszyu against Mike Stewart, he was getting caught pretty good by Stewart who probably wouldn't have touched him a few years ago & he couldn't finish him even though Stewart was begging for it, style make fights but Hatton showed what type of level Stewart's at.

You see mic573 - I reckon that it's the later rounds where Ricky Hatton is his most dangerous, because he maitains the same relentless pace right till the last minute of the last round. He's never slowed down before, and I definatley don't think he'll slow in the later rounds against Tszyu.

I think from round 8/9 onwards - This is Ricky Hattons teritory, as he's 10yrs younger, and this is what he does.

I think Hatton will only lose if he get's careless and get's tagged in the early rounds. If he's still standing after 6 rounds I think Hatton will win a UD Decsion!

At least that's what I'm really really hoping will happen!

He get's his shots off then he tie's the other fighter up. Then he lands some body shots on the inside and tie's his opponent up again... Then the referee breaks.

This is not bumbling forward trying to knock the other guy out... It's a controlled aggresion and his defense is in getting close.

I think he's being very under-estimated... And may shock the World!
He was quoted as saying he had 80 amatuer fights with 76 wins, impressive considering his style is nothing like a normal successful amateur.

As a styles match i think Hatton has the Advantage, but Tszyu punches so hard i favour him in the fight. I think Hatton is being underated by a lot of fans, i dont think there's a Hatton fight i havent seen and i know the man is genuine world class.

Hi elveiel!... I got your pm yesterday!

I decided to spend the day chatting on the forums to bring my posts up to 100 so I can join you and others in your members lounge.

I'll let you know when I get there... LOL!...

Ricky boy has all the potential to shake up the boxing World and put himself in contention for a BIG Las Vegas showdown with one perhaps Cotto or Gatti/Mayweather to start to unify the division!

            Here's hoping!!!

            Martin.

I am taking KT on this one, I wouldn't put a dime on it though, Ricky has heart! He is a gutsy fighter kinda like a Gatti. He has a very good chance of beating KT. Has Ricky hit the canvas yet? (In the Pros)

Ricky hit the canvas once in his pro career in the 1st round against Eamon Magee... But it wasn't a bad know down.

If you wanna see it... Go to http://www.rickyhitmanhatton.com then go on the video's page and go to Magee 1st round.

Against Magee he got caught off balance and knocked down, Magee's a good puncher and Hatton wasnt even hurt. Check it out on his website that martinwbc posted

I think Hatton has a good chin, he's taken some heavy shots very well but Tszyu's power could hurt anyone.
