Boxingscene opinions on Kostya Tszyu vs Ricky Hatton

I like Hatton, but fighting Tszyu is a big mistake, he should have fought someone like Cotto or Gatti b4 getting in the ring with the beast of the 140 div...Tszyu by KO/TKO within 5rnds..

My opinion (ha ha ha, not that anybody cares! ) as I've posted on a few different threads is KT will win this. I do think it wont be nearly as easy as alot of people seeem to think cause Ricky does have a great body attack, and KT will get worked over some, but in the long run I look for it to end in a ko or a tko (cuts). I think the main challenge for Hatton is taking KT's right hand, which is a tall order for any boxer! Good luck to both guys though, and thanks to them both for giving us fans what should be a fantastic fight!

Maybe so..much as I want KT to win I'd like see some competitive action for a few rd's atleast (before the ko, which I think will come one way or the other thanks to Tszyu!)...Oh, I dont pee during an HBO or Sho fight I've got all my stuff together before it starts...drinks, etc. Got it going on my man!

Thats always been my major complaint about Hatton..the always fighting in his own backyard. So many of his fans keep telling me though that he has no need to fight anywhere else cause of the fan base (therefore the amount of money he makes there) I think he'd earn alot more peoples respect if he'd fight somewhere..anywhere else!

You guys are slipping on Mitchell. Before the Tszyu fight he was considered the man in Jr.Welter. It was not Floyd nor it was Gatti. Also Mitchell was a heavy favorite against Tszyu because he was fast on his feet, good boxer, tough and had power. But now after he got Ko'ed you say he was shot and taylor made. Slick southpaws are not taylormade for anybody. Mayorga was taylor made for Tito mitchell was a worst match up for Tszyu. And dont start this bull**** that Mitchell lost because he started to fight like Tszyu wanted him to fight. NO it was Tszyu who made him fight like he wanted. It was Tszyu's ability to cut the ring that prevent mitchell from runnig around in that huge ring.

The main reason I like Tsyzu in this fight is his greater punching power and his experience.

Hatton should have fought a Cotto, Corley or even Abdulaev type opponent first.

I love Ricky Hatton's style and personality, but for a guy that punches at such a high volume and still not be considered a KO puncher, lets me know that he doesn't hit that hard.

No way should a 39 year old Vince Phillips or a glass chinned joke like Carlos Vilches last 12 rounds with Hatton.

Hatton reminds me of JUAN DIAZ. Kostya will give Hatton a boxing lesson.
