The only reason is that Cotto doesn't want the cheater to make millions and profit off of his name. If Plasterito fights him for free, I'm sure Cotto will be more than happy to kick his ass.

There is no such thing as a fighter fighting for free, so anyone mentioning this is ******ed, and like i had stated before i wouldn't care how much Margarito would make i would just make sure that the world new who the real better fighter is.

Proof? Cotto aint scared of no man...he has fought everyone!!! I would love the rematch, but I respect Cotto's opinion on the matter.

People forget Cotto agreed to a rematch before Margarito's fight with Mosley. Now after seeing what happen with the cheating, Cotto is not going to give him a payday.

That is how You and I think, BUT it seems like Cotto doesn't give a d@mn about the loss. We can disgard him being scared...it just seems as he just wants to move on. He accepts the loss like a man. Maybe if Marg makes a name for himself again...he will fight him. I mean unless you are close to Cotto or his fam we will never know WTF he thinks.

excellent post, i see your point, but that would mean that Cotto doesn't believe that Margarito cheated against him if he accepts the loss. IMHO I think Cotto lost fair and square against Marg until proven otherwise, but I'm very impressed with Cotto ability to learn from that and come back a better fighter, and he would do much better against Marg.

I Agree! Not A Penny....

....Unless Marga replaces his entire team. There should be no rematch! Cotto desrerves better. After the fight with the Pacman,,who knows what's gonna happen.

Another very good point, I think that on his best night, after his best training camp and incredible conditioning, Cotto would be able to do what he did the first 6 rounds of the first fight for a full 12 rounds against Marg.
