Or maybe he just doesn't want to give Margacheato a payday. I don't blame Cotto for being bitter when Marg in all likelyhood cheated and apparently is just about ready to resume a career that should have ended with a 5 year stint in St.Quentin.

I wouldn't. Marg. shouldn't get any opportunity whatsoever. As far as I'm concerned he has committed a cardinal sin and Cotto has every right to feel bitter and cheated.

By your logic James Toney and Shane Mosley should also be in jail, the difference would be that they actually fought while having an unfair advantage and Margarito was caught and not allowed to, besides this anything else is speculation, there are rules in place to prevent this and i don't think they would fail that often.

The only reason is that Cotto doesn't want the cheater to make millions and profit off of his name. If Plasterito fights him for free, I'm sure Cotto will be more than happy to kick his ass.

During a recent interview with ESPN Deportes radio, Margarito expressed his desire to land a rematch with Cotto in the first quarter of 2010 - if the Puerto Rican star is able to beat Manny Pacquiao on November 14 in Las Vegas.
