Who do you give credit, Floyd or Pac beating Marquez?

here we go again with the floyd was a 5'8 160 lbs. man when he's never weighed above 151 in a fight.... I guess its just debateable because there was no unofficial weigh in but it starts getting irritating when you pull out numbers and act like they're fact.

that's why I said "around" 160 lbs. we don't know and will never know because floyd's a *****-made punk. 160 is a valid as 151.

I didn't say anything,but since we press on I'll clarify,Pacman fought Marquez on even terms,fact!!Most agree that the knockdown was the determining factor in Pacman's victory!!The welterweight floyd didn't make weight,didn't try to & while he won every round,fact is he was supposed to!!90% of fight fans that went for Marquez knew he wouldn't win!!Mosley was at 147,floyd didn't & doesn't want it!!A welterweight will never get respect from the majority of fight fans by beating a great fighter who was never proven above 135,when he doesn't fight welterweights,capish!!

Yeah I edited that I thought you started the thread but then I looked back and you didn't so I changed you to he but all I'm saying is IMO Manny did not beat marquez and therefore does not get as much credit, albeit the small amount of credit I do give floyd for that fight, as a guy who dominated marquez. I do give floyd some credit though seeing as though he fought a good fighter after two years of not fighting. I don't really see what mosely has to do with this topic in particular.

If he really weighed just 155 on fightnight why refuse a weigh-in?

And u just need to take a look at gayweather to see he's 160 on fightnight. JMM looks like a kid compared to Gayweather's size.

Alright since you like to look at comparisons how about you look at a picture of mayweather in the DLH fight side by side with a picture of Mayweather in the marquez fight and tell me if you see a ten lbs difference? I didn't. I know you feel there is some conspiracy and it's against "common sense" to not assume somebody is about ten lbs. heavier and blew up about 8 lbs more than he has ever been in the ring in the past just because there was no unofficial weigh-in but I just don't buy that. This a guy who's unofficial weights of the past have never seen him gain more than 6 lbs from weigh in to fight night but now he gains 14? Sorry if i'm not convinced but I don't think that makes me a floyd stan. What does that even mean btw? like a real biased fan or something?

I can't agree that a guy who has faced world class fighters in the square circle in 5 weight divisions is *****-made and I don't agree that anything above 156 is a valid estimate of his weight on that night.
