My belif was that it would have made him hungrier; motived him. Too bad.
Yeah those were my thought exactly. I was hoping they would put him at about #5. Now he will be back at #1 if Manny loses without having done anything. Then he could just go on and rematch Hatton or make Bradley move up or something and just continue being #1.

Given the sum of Cotto's last few years, his quality of opp, and Floyd's not having taken a real challenging fight yet in his comeback, I'd be tempted to move Cotto to 1 if he beat Pac.

The problem here is the ring gave floyd the #2 spot, hoping he'd fight Mosley for welterweight supremacy!!That messed **** up!!Now because of golden boy's policy & corruption, floyd is gonna be # 1 by beating a great lightweight!!This is f^cked up too, because Cotto has been fighting hard for years to make it,the Punisher has trecked across 3 weight classes to fight,Mosley had to take on Margarito for the dirt & in strolls floyd to rob boxing blind & his fans are ok with that!!I thought floyd wouldn't be bad for boxing, but he is,soon all fighters are gonna be like,"I should cherry pick my way up the ladder because boxing fans are to ****** to care"!!

Cotto will have beaten the #1 P4P in his prime, something Mayweather has never done. He deserves to be #1.
