You make no sense. This is a hugely one sided fight on paper, how are you as a Bootsy fan and believer accepting this? Has Bootsy ever been in a fight where he wasn’t a HUGE betting favorite? There’s people in the division he can fight that would be more competitive, this is a weird decision but I guess money wise for Eddie it makes sense. As a fan though I’m just like wtf I’d like to see Bootsy fight a guy he’s not a huge favorite against but hey enjoy ur mismatch lol
      -------------------
There it is!! The typical response while ducking the points I was making. Boots is about to win TWO belts at 154 in his second fight. How many has Ortiz won in his 10 year professional career?
Why didn't your idol fight Zayas or Fundora or any other title holder at 154 despite being at that weight class for TWO damn years?????

Boots called out your idol on stage and what did Ortiz do? Started talking about fighting his "DREAM FIGHT" with Spence.

The Oscar drama was just drama to appease people like you. Ortiz has been ducking Boots for FOUR straight years now. Don't worry though, after Boots destroys Zayas, next in line will be Kelly for a THIRD belt. Your boy can get it if he wants but what exactly does he bring to the table?

Lastly, this is the goofiest thing you could ever write, "As a fan though I’m just like wtf I’d like to see Bootsy fight a guy he’s not a huge favorite against but hey enjoy ur mismatch" - Ortiz was a huge favorite against Thomas Dulorme and to remind you, Boots had destroyed Dulorme 4 years prior to Ortiz cherry picking him. So when you write something so hypocritical and obtuse, how are we to take you serious? Did you enjoy the Ortiz vs Dulorme mismatch? And it was for a fight with zero titles at stake.

Compare that resume to Ortiz - Boots won two titles at WW and is about to collect TWO titles at 154. How many has the true prospect Ortiz won in his 10 year career as a pro boxer?

You are not wrong. Ortiz will fight in 2009 for sure. Meanwhile, Boots will most likely unify ALL the belts at 154 this year. I cannot wait to hear how that clown LAchargers373 defend his idol who will have no belt to fight for. "But but but ... Ortiz has the best resume and takes on all smoke ...".
That will be the song we'll be hearing UNTIL Ortiz moves to 160 and then "But but but he's got some condition and can't make weight ...."
And then, "Why can't Boots move to 160 to challenge Ortiz? He's busy being a weight bully at 154 ..."
Shortly after, Ortiz will be at 168. Ortiz is the next Edson Miranda.

Sure sure .. those "better names" will def get him into the Hall of Fame.

I'll find you after Boots unifies all the belts at 154 so we can hear your excuse then.

I think Fundora would beat Boots and Ortiz.

Its who you beat not how many belts you got. Beating another bum in zayas doesn't change that
