The problem is Ricky Hatton will probably try to push it even if Mayweather says no. Hatton will say something like "Floyd didn't beat me, Cortez did". And he'll try to sell the first as if he didn't get outclassed and outboxed by Mayweather, and that it was actually all Joe Cortez fault.

This will suck if Mayweather takes this fight. I would be very upset.

See if you had watched the fight without bias you'd see that Mayweather did all the holding to bring the ref in, just like Dirrell and spent the first 6 rounds running - just like Dirrell. The one thing Mayweather did differently to Dirrell was throw more, but they were all pitty patty backfoot punches EXCEPT the ones after the ref would break them up unnecessarily. The ref was the only reason Mayweather got any big punches in.
