I think he needs to get back into some kind of shape and fight a tune up fight and then STAY in shape between fights and gauge after a couple of fights whether he physically and mentally has whats left to go after a big name. I don't see him ever beating Mayweather or Pac though I'm afraid, but that doesn't mean he can't still finish out his resume with a couple of wins against world level opponents. That is if the abuse he has put his body through hasn't gone even further than I thought.

he knows floyd wont go balls out like pacman and knock him out early, so he wont get as badly hurt fighting floyd again.
You know he would have been more damaged in the Floyd fight right?

Pacquiao knocked him out cold, his body didn't take a sustained beating. In his fight with Floyd his body literally got broken down.

Let's see him fight Hatton at 140. Floyd always trying to steal a weight advantage as well as a ref and ring advantage.

What if Floyd loses, that would make the fight legit and you'd abandoned your fighter. A true self-confessed nutthugger like yourself would hang on surely?
Man a Ricky Hatton fan....what u guys been up to lmao!!!!

It should have started with.....The Semi ******ed Ricky Hatton........

For the dumb asses on this forum, this is what I meant when I use the term "MENTALLY destroyed" by Mayweather. When Pac fought Hatton it was this state of mind that he was in, semi ******ed.....

He has plenty of challenges around his weight but the big money he is looking for might not be there. I do like Ricky alot as a person and wouldn't want to see him get hurt just cause he wants a challenge to earn more money
Ricky has had 47 fights at 140 and above. Floyd has had 9.

How many guys are out there, like Ricky, who are still fighting at the same weight as they did when they were 18 years old?

Froch came to him. Ricky comes at you and holds and fights better on the inside, because he's a slow, rugged fighter with short arms and he's more vulnerable on the outside... and it's also out of laziness. Holding always is.
So there is a clause in boxing rules that say a man with shorter arms is allowed to hold? But a man that is expected more of, physiologically, cannot? Excuses aside, there is an obvious double standard at play in the minds of many British fight fans.

                      Hatton can hold, Dirrell cannot.

                      Thank you.
