I think he needs to get back into some kind of shape and fight a tune up fight and then STAY in shape between fights and gauge after a couple of fights whether he physically and mentally has whats left to go after a big name. I don't see him ever beating Mayweather or Pac though I'm afraid, but that doesn't mean he can't still finish out his resume with a couple of wins against world level opponents. That is if the abuse he has put his body through hasn't gone even further than I thought.

In home advantage they let him wrestle, hit and hold and hold again. Its not wrestling its boxing. He doesn't belong with a WW anyway, Ricky will do good with 90% of his weight class at this moment but not with the WWs. He has plenty of challenges around his weight but the big money he is looking for might not be there. It's not that simple. Dirrell didn't have any legs for whatever reason, and he avoided making it more of a fight and didn't throw enough punches when he's a much better athlete, more skilled boxer, and should have beaten him. Froch came to him. Ricky comes at you and holds and fights better on the inside, because he's a slow, rugged fighter with short arms and he's more vulnerable on the outside... and it's also out of laziness. Holding always is.

So there is a clause in boxing rules that say a man with shorter arms is allowed to hold? But a man that is expected more of, physiologically, cannot? Excuses aside, there is an obvious double standard at play in the minds of many British fight fans.
