I don't even think Matias was winning the rounds. You could give him a couple but it looks like he was winning because it was more his kind of fight, so the illusion is he's having his own way but actually he was getting worked over plenty, which is why he wilted first. Yes the ending sequence were big shots but it was the accumulation that made him easier to hurt.

I didn't have Matias winning any rounds he ate shots from the first round and his resilience bar ran down. Smith took the fight completely away from him, an excellent performance

I am glad most of the coverage of this fight recognizes that Smith won this thing, Matias didn't lose it. Sometimes when the pre-fight favorite eats it, the press cannot let it go they read it wrong. Smith has earned this.

Don't know what the commentators were seeing in this short fight, Matias was winning the rounds.

But it was increasingly obvious he was going to lose down the stretch.

His body language was betraying him big time... Yet they were adamant he was absolutely dominating.

Commentators were still saying Smith was being punished when he sent Matias to Jupiter.

Bizarre call on the fight. Made the KO sweeter not that that's Matias fault. But you have to pretend to be objective.

Matias in that fight getting sparked was literally never out of the question. Never.

'Out of nowhere,' they said.
