Well done to Benn, decisive win with knockdowns.

But yes, as I thought, rematch wouldn't be thrilling as the first fight. Even the buildup, virtually none, low key, felt like few were interested.

It was a packed stadium, but from the first round to the last, an anti-climax.

Finally though, an official Benn victory against a Eubank, although I think Nigel won the rematch against Chris back in the day.

Maybe that's it for Jr, had a nice career, lots of money, no need to continue if the love of the game is gone.

All about the money, the British boxing board is a joke Gilles and that scum Robert Smith should never have approved this Eubank could barely stay upright from the weight loss and this towel head Turkey who never worked day in his life sitting there like he's watching Ali-Frazier in 1971.... SMFH...

Dude gets outboxed by a jab so easily. No feet, no variety, no speed... Ever
You can pick that fight out of the mix, but he was fighting a world champion in that one.

It's very rare Eubank throws so few punches. Surely anyone can see that he was a shell of himself for whatever reason.

I thought Eubank Jr looked horrible from the moment he took his robe off he looked dry as a bone, pale and weak. His legs looked very weak, his punches had nothing on and his normally good workrate was non existent. His timing off also constantly badly missing that hideous attempt of a check hook.
Eubanks strengths was always his chin, cardio, volume and overwhelming opponents on the inside I don't know why he suddenly fancies himself as some sort of outboxer when his feet are so bad & his jab sucks.

As terrible as he looked I thought Benn looked decent and was a lot smarter in his approach.

I am not sure where either goes tbh I think a trilogy is most likely as its where the money is but maybe without the hydration to make it more interesting though as drained as he looked I think he's way past it and that fight will have taken a whole lot out of him even if it wasn't a vicious beatdown.
Eubank is done certainly at world level, Benn I remain sceptical if he can make 147 safely still, 154 would seem more logical to me but Ortiz and Boots would frankly punch holes in him.

If you look at any of my posts regarding Eubanks, I think he sucks.

likely fixed tbh....prob both of them agreed long ago 'we'll make it 1-1' so neither of them back out of it.

                dodgy ******** firm, dazn.

His entire career has been a cherry pick though. He avoids speed because he's slow.

But we see it even against average fighters. Morrison is a good example. When he stopped standing in front of Jr he couldn't do anything.

Groves just didn't stand in front. And it was easy work. Can't blame age or weight on that.

Was Jr demoralised and done by the end? Sure. But that's because Conor didn't engage in a war. He was tired and beaten up badly.

Ftr, I bet on Conor to win in 3 (and another on UD), could see the signs in the first fight, Jr just was not fast enough. His only chance was Conor would war again (which I thought he might), but he didn't. Very controlled, professional performance from Benn.

Eubank is easy to beat with a jab and feet creatibg distance.

Just awesome from Benn, I had him to win the first but he wasn't controlled. The second fight he was controlled. Benn will surely blow away the 147 contenders and will surely go down in history as one of the great 147 pounders, went 24 rounds with a 168 pounder tells us his jaw is granite. 2026 will surely be the year the world of boxing will see it's newest superstar. Awesome display from Conor Benn.
