It's literally the complete OPPOSITE of what it was a decade or so ago when it was the strongest division in boxing.

Disagree about Norman...the kid looks special but agree about the rest. Berto/Guerrero and the like would have a field day with Crocker, Donovan & Barrios whereas Rolly, Ryan & Haney would give them much tougher fights which they'd probably still win.

Peak Berto isnt no bum and Guerrero wasnt a natural welterweight. I think Berto would run through all of them. Norman beaten a Friday night fight Mexican then a Japanese guy no one knew.

Now Norman vs Victor Ortiz would be interesting because Ortiz is a quiter but you will have to survive his offensive output. I would watch that. It would end in a KO.

Barrios still represents the low hanging fruit. Good enough to be a credible opponent, limited enough to look beatable. Barrios already had an optional defense against Pac and don't know why there is not a mandatory looming for a shot.
