Entertaining fight. Makhmudov shouldn’t be confused as an actual top level contender. But the drop off after like #8 @ HW is so steep that big money fights surely await him.

        Glad Dave Allen lost.

He's a waste of time. Not a good boxer and doesn't even take the sport seriously.

I was ringside for his first "I'm in shape this time" crusade when he was dominated by Lenroy Thomas when he got a massive push for no reason what so ever.

Adams Smith commentary was the most sickening thing I've ever heard, he may as well have just took his creepy a$$ in the ring and started sucking him off. Allen could have been out cold and I don't think he'd have even noticed just carried on praising him like some crazed Swiftie. I've heard some real bias commentary in my time but that was just next level d1ck riding.

Great chin on him but I don't understand Allens support and I am sure next time we'll all have to once again suffer the ''If Allens in shape'' nonsense.
Maybe its just me being a miserable old git but it baffles me. He isn't very good or even particularly talented, he's lazy as anything, he doesn't take risks or exactly go for broke, boring personality. Is that, is it because he is a bit simple? Idk I'll just lump it down to us being in a time where we keep making the most ridiculous people famous.

Allen is a good guy and all but I was shocked so many people picked him to win. Too many losses and simply had one guy's number in Fisher who was overrated.

Because for some reasons us brits (not all of us) love a guy who fails to reach the top and seems relatable like hey its OK to fail you tried mate

Plus he is Eddie Hearns mate and hes pushed to make him wealthy as he can

Any other country would be disappointed, maybe disgusted even but for some reason we've practically made him into a superstar.
