Could Alex Pereira have any real success in boxing?

Before we dismiss him he originally came from an amateur boxing background (rumoured to go 25-3 all wins via K.O granted this was in Brazil where the level is not so good) and is 1-0 1 K.O as a pro. Despite being a heavily decorated kickboxer and very accomplished in MMA he primarily uses his boxing skills/hands.
He's not an MMA guy whose power wouldn't translate he can absolutely punch.

Could he have any real success in say this dead CW division?

I'm not talking Jai Opetaia but could he beat a 41-42yr old Badou Jack? or say Billam-Smith?
I think he maybe could you know..

I would love to see him try.
Imagine he won a title even if it was a 42yr old Jack he'd easily go down as the greatest combat sports athlete of all time.

World titles in kickboxing, MMA and boxing

          Fringe top 10 maybe.

Big guy with lethal power but by boxing standards hes quite stiff, flat footed and hittable. Keep in mind hes 38 years old too so father time could be on him at any moment.

Hell of a fighter though, and arguably the most must see attraction in combat sports today.

              No, see Ngannou vs Joshua

These MMA punchers lose a lot of power when they put boxing gloves on and go up against boxers and I don't expect perreras "technique" to help him out much.

Maybe if you can find a fat drunk like a cruiserweight version of fury, who won't take him seriously at all, he might have a bit of success.

But any top 25 boxer who trains properly deals with him with ease, again, see Ngannou vs AJ

Alex has a lot better skills and technique than Ngannou who tbf did put Fury on his a$$

He's fought majority of his career in boxing gloves and it never effected his power.

I think CW is awful and HW isn't much better.

Obviously I am not suggesting him vs Jai, Usyk, Kabayel, Itauma etc but I think there are lot of high rated CWs and HWs he might beat.

I think a very good technical boxer would have a field day but for me most of them aren't.
So many out there right now who for me have terrible chins, no footwork, stamina, no real defence - I wouldn't at all be surprised if he drilled them.
Most of these HWs I see today are spent after 3 rounds and can barely stand up.

I think even a Dave Allen beats him but there are definitely guys I'd consider a lot better than Allen that I think have just the right amount of vulnerabilities.
Someone like say Yoka I feel he'd have a great chance of beating. Dillian Whyte.
I honestly wouldn't totally write him off against a Dubois. Sure I can see Dubois steamrolling him and he very likely would however I can also as easily see Dubois getting ktfo or quitting.
