It was ugly, and definitely blocked by the shoulder, but it's what caused Benny to tumble. Morrell got scored for it but gave it away hitting after the bell.

He also buckled David's legs at the end of the fourth or fifth round IIRC.

had it been an opponent with pull Artur’s Cousin Imam would have been off for roiding going into the fight
      with a lead hook
      on the shoulder

Mexican’s David has footwork issues that makes his balance suspect. He regularly drags his feet and breaks his base defensively and offensively

Top Soviet Bivol and Parker’s Cousin Buff Guy Jai box circles around him
it is funny how boxings fans has not mentioned, well you did, the fact that the guy was on roids. It was not a fair fight and I don't know why it was made.

Three times he hurt him, and right before the knock down he hurt him too.

Cuban David hurt Mexican David a good 3 or 4 times outright wobbling him one time with a southpaw lead hook over the top of a bad setup when Mexican David tried to come in with a backhand

would pick David's Cousin Osleys to beat Mexican David too

Top Soviet Bivol, Parker's Cousin Buff Guy Jai, OSLEYS are BAD style matches for Mexi David

That’s right — Morrell did hurt Benny at some point. It’s the KD I question.

just rewatched Cuban David took anywhere from 3 to 5 rounds

              competitive rounds

It was a competitive fight, for sure. Would love to see those two run it back sometime.

I think Morrell should win rather comfortably but I wouldn't go all-in on it. 2 of his last 3 he went life and death with guys who I don't think are on his level and certainly not as talented.

Similarly to Willy Hutchinson I feel they both have a lot of talent but too much showmanship and they do the wrong things at the wrong time.

I am very close to giving up on Morrell and I don't know if a new trainer does much as he's fought the same way since the amateurs.
I don't understand what he is doing half the time standing in front of punchers and combination-punchers with his earmuffs on inviting shots when he has no intention of throwing with them. This rock 'em sock 'em robots style is not the Cuban way. I'm not saying he has to fight like Scull but he has good feet, use em.
Its exciting but he could be 0-3 in his last 3 and have fell into obscurity already.
