Similarly to Willy Hutchinson I feel they both have a lot of talent but too much showmanship and they do the wrong things at the wrong time.

I am very close to giving up on Morrell and I don't know if a new trainer does much as he's fought the same way since the amateurs.
I don't understand what he is doing half the time standing in front of punchers and combination-punchers with his earmuffs on inviting shots when he has no intention of throwing with them. This rock 'em sock 'em robots style is not the Cuban way. I'm not saying he has to fight like Scull but he has good feet, use em.
It's exciting but he could be 0-3 in his last 3 and have fell into obscurity already.
    You’re scaring me.
Osleys is the best hope for great Cuban boxing

he boxes, counters, and will put punches together

Osleys beat David in the amateurs

I need to check him out more tbh

Yoenlis Hernandez is the one for me.
One of the biggest MWs I've ever seen with a high octane style.
A big lump that is very skilled on the inside and utilises angles.

I'll be amazed if he doesn't win a world title real soon

Love this fight, David got a gift on his last fight and looked like his head was elsewhere, that Benavidez fight was tough and smith well he’s getting on but hung tough vs buatsi, he could eke it here, hope he retires soon though

Yeah, I love Morrell, but I kinda feel that Osleys has a somewhat higher ceiling. Appears to have all David’s qualities, but with a more methodical style.

Dropped him? What counted as a kd was bs, everyone saw that. The hit after the bell was his best punch of the fight.

The kid did ok after talking mad ****, but couldn't back up that talk. Benavidez toyed with him and exposed tons of cracks in Morrell. Showed if you fight smart, counter and take it to Morrell, he'll tire and get frustrated. NOBODY would stand and trade with him due to his vaunted power but Benavodez did and took it to him.

I was at the fight. Benavidez easily 8/4'd him

Last couple of fights you can see Morrell doesn't move his head well. Since the Benavidez fight most have noticed and that is a hard habit to break. He is better defensively when he is offensive. He will not have an easy time with Smith.

Callum Smith will have been out of the ring a year by then. Is that good for him?

what do you think of Yoenlis?

he is Afro-Cuban and looks the part but man does he have the Latino in him

                  a Cuban inside fighter

Yoenlis and Mbilli could be cousins

Oh, wow. I’ve only heard of the kid. Haven’t seen him fight yet. But I like what you’re telling me. Most Cubans don’t fight on the inside, nor know how to.

If Morrell is the real deal he needs to beat up Smith and stop him. If he struggles to a win, then I am off his train officially.
