Driver's side floor? I thought it was the passenger's side. You don't want to drive with anything on the driver's side floor, because it can get stuck under the brake or accelerator pedals.Comment

That is exactly the truth. It happened to AB Adrien Broner in Cincinnati. Where his boys shot up the vehicle he was driving but prayerfully he was not harmed.
Now Crawford was blessed enough to survive and leave the hood; Through his God given ability, hard work and dedication.
The rest who were left behind there are just trapped. Bill Haney had to save Mayweather’s boys from the hood. They ain’t from the hood.
They grew up wealthy and privileged in the suburbs.

I would imagine that the gun was put there after they stopped so that the cop could see it and no one would have to touch it , for safety reasons. I could wrong but it makes sense. I can't imagine anyone driving around with a gun on the drivers side floor for the reasons that you mentioned. In retrospect it would probably been a better idea to put it on the dashboard.Comment

Bud is from the streets and a former gang member. So he is very well known to the Omaha police department. So sure they knew who he was.
Perhaps his past has come back to haunt him. I know he has redeemed himself but not everyone is so willing to forgive.
Chances are he was probably spotted on the North side of town recently; In one those poor high crime areas of the city.
Which is probably the reason why these cops pulled him over and ordered him out of his car at gunpoint like a common criminal.
They still perceive him as a street thug. Until he cuts ties with his old crew and stay out of the hood.
Then he shall always be harassed and remain a target of the Omaha police.
Crawford was never a gang member or anything of the sort. He was an athlete. Here's what Google has to say about that. I typed in "Was Terrence Crawford a gang member ?"
"No, while Terence Crawford grew up in a rough neighborhood where gangs were present, he states that he chose a different path and that his mother's influence and his commitment to boxing kept him out of trouble. He chose boxing as a way to have a better life for his family, and he overcame his circumstances by making the right choices."👍 2Comment

thats exactly what i was thinking when i read it!
come to think about it there have been varying reports of what side the gun was on, im sure only 1 is right, probably just journalist mistakes somewhere in the reports, passenger side sounds more correct😂 1👍 1Comment

i dont think many people would want to see a rematch, canelo just doesnt have it anymore hes just not sharp enough, as for going back down for bud im not sure that it would be even possible for him now, i dont know what he weighted from his 168 weighin but 160 would surely be his limit going back down now u would think
He won't fight those guys. He's 38 and hit the Canelo lottery. And now that Red has publicized an elbow injury and subsequent surgery, the stage is being set for a rematch. Since Crawford won the first fight, the rematch will allow him to demand that true retirement check that he wants.Comment

Crawford may not have been a gang member, but he did run with gang members and almost died because of it. Credit to him for rising above his environment.

I just don't see Bud risking his "0" on the younger guys for far less money. He's just at that point in his career where he's about as accomplished as he needs to be, and too old to do much more.

$40 isn't going to break my bank. And I don't want to see the young brother go down for something he didn't do. You got me wrong there, bro.
