Also, what happened to Canelo? This has to have been his worse performance of his career. To me he looked both old and slow.

He looked as if he has aged some 15 years more in boxing years than Terence Crawford who is more than three years older than him.

I know he is only 35 but he looked 50 years old in there against Bud. In addition, Canelo looked like a defeated and broken fighter who wanted to quit.

Now they come up with the elbow excuse. However, It doesn’t matter. Terence is just the better fighter.
I agree, Champ, Bud fought a superb fight. Canelo started out ok, but he never really did anything different as the fight went on. Bud kept away from him early on, but he figured him out by mid-fight. And as usual, Canelo began to gas in the later rounds and became easier to hit. I lost $40 on that fight, to a guy at work whom I never lose to!

I read the whole thing. He was LEGALLY carrying guns. Sounds like heads are gonna roll in the PD involved. I guess you just upset still that bud whooped on canelo with ease.

but I bet you already predicted that huh?

Bud is from the streets and a former gang member. So he is very well known to the Omaha police department. So sure they knew who he was.

Perhaps his past has come back to haunt him. I know he has redeemed himself but not everyone is so willing to forgive.

Chances are he was probably spotted on the North side of town recently; In one those poor high crime areas of the city.

Which is probably the reason why these cops pulled him over and ordered him out of his car at gunpoint like a common criminal.

They still perceive him as a street thug. Until he cuts ties with his old crew and stay out of the hood.

Then he shall always be harassed and remain a target of the Omaha police.

I could sense that you had a horse in the race. Yes, in The fight played out exactly how I predicted for the exception of the knockout.

Bud is just simply the better fighter. The size differential didn’t matter at all. Don’t get me wrong. Canelo is great. However, Terence Crawford is special.

He is by far the greatest fighter of his time, era and generation. Which include: Both Pac and Mayweather. He is the most gifted and skilled of the three.

Well, let's not carried away . His resume isn't stellar enough to declare him better than Pacquiao and Mayweather. And let's not forget, he's not facing any of the young lions coming up. He just beat a great but aging and after 67 fights, an inevitably somewhat shop-worn Alvarez.

He won't fight those guys. He's 38 and hit the Canelo lottery. And now that Red has publicized an elbow injury and subsequent surgery, the stage is being set for a rematch. Since Crawford won the first fight, the rematch will allow him to demand that true retirement check that he wants.

I wasn't talking about the guns. I said he was out @ 1:30am, (allegedly) driving like a fool, because he thought the town was asleep. But he forgot the nightshift cops were on patrol.

He's a rich man, now. Time to stay out of the hood, before some jealous fool he used to run with or against tries something stupid.
