Omaha is such a small town. So it makes it very hard for one to believe that they didn’t know who Terence Crawford was when they pulled him over.
Chances are they are going to probably drop that ticket against Bud anyhow. Since, I am pretty sure that this is not the type of media hype that the city of Omaha, NE need.

The police are liars period.
What the racists, trolls and other IRRELEVANT weirdos in the comments section say in their thinly veiled race baiting statements is typical for that bunch.
It has long been an established FACT, as per a years long investigation by the DOJ, during the latter part of the ***** Administration, that there is a systemic issue of racial bias with law enforcement and their attitudes towards white possible offenders and their African American counterparts.
It was found that Police will help to foster a hostile encounter with African American citizens especially young black men driving, in order to provoke them into a confrontation. They are far less likely on average to treat whites for the same alleged infraction in a hostile and provocative manner.
It has also been established by not just the DOJ But the FBI and other law enforcement agencies that white nationalists who have strong anti African American sentiment, have infiltrated the ranks of most police departments in the major cities within the United States.
This encounter with The new Undisputed Champion Bud Crawford is a good example of how these people operate. They claim that he was driving erratically yet there is no evidence of a failed alcohol test.
That is simply a ruse to pull him over and harass him and his fellow occupants.
Crawford is easily recognizable as he just participated in a high profile superfight that was promoted for half a year throughout the nation.
He also being a Nebraska native, was given a massive honorary parade and the keys to the city which meant that this made the local news . Anyone claiming he isn’t known is just outright lying.
He lives in a right to carry state so a gun laying in the floor is not cause to point a weapon at his and occupants faces.
They were hoping to provoke him into a confrontation which he wisely avoided by asking for a supervisor to be present on the scene. Thankfully one of the occupants recorded this interaction, which is why these d* vils are under investigation by internal affairs.
They KNEW who he was and I’m quite sure that when they saw this black man on television sitting on a golden throne like carriage being honored by the entire city and its leaders, it triggered their WORST instincts.

And??? So all cops should be aware of the parade? And even so, how would the cops know how TBud looks like? They could have heard about the parade but how would they know it's him? Like I said, hopefully after this incident, his face being on national tv and news outlet, maybe the cops will know who he is.Comment

Boxing is EQUAL RULES. Black boxers excel. Outside the ring ? Then that white cop used HIS SYSTEM to try to slap Crawford down. See black boxers can temporarily be celebrated for entertainment and sports, but no matter how rich or admired they are, the cop felt he had re-assert his dominance.Comment

Yes, but not everyone is into boxing or keep up with it. And like I said even if cops heard about TBud, that still doesn't mean they know how he looks like. And even if cops do know how TBUd looks like, it still doesn't mean they can keep their guards down. They pulled TBud over, so normal protocol has to be followed.Comment

I hope this isn't something that discourages Crawford and creates resentment in his heart. You can tell he's a genuine, humble person. He's inspirational to a lot of people and someone who can be a good role model for kids. I'm not going to condone what happened, I wasn't there. But I personally think it was excessive.Comment
