Is Crawford the epitome of a boxing champion? Floyd's reign suddenly became a bit funny in comparison

    Didn't even read it.

Floyd's resume is in another league to Crawford's, who is also a great fighter.

Floyd beat ten fighters with a #1 rankings in the division being fought in at the time they fought, as well 7 Top 10 P4P ranked fighters at the time they fought.

    Multiple prime HOF'ers.

    Speaks for itself.

Floyd is the definition of a fraud. He waits till bums like baldomir are "number 1" yet makes up every excuse not to fight prime marg, cotto, pac, etc...when they are. Sorry floyd we know what you did. Look at the stats! Look at the ducks! If you hang around long enough with political power you can pick and choose which opponents to fight.

Never mind the resume comparison. Bud is a great fighter and he just accomplished a great feat, but when did he ever generate real buzz apart from his two fights with Spence and Canelo? Floyd is in four of the highest grossing PPVs of all-time, and 5 of the top 10. Fans will talk about both men for a long time to come, but Mayweather will cast a longer shadow.

He was 24-0 against world title winning opponents.

If you nitpick the 10 best wins off his resume he's still EASILY a first ballot Hall of Famer.

Crawford and Floyd are both great champions. The only difference between them is that Floyd is a celebrity and Crawford is not.

It took way too long for everyone to realize TBud is the best of this generation

yes he was a very good fighter but he was also a fraud. they aren't mutually exclusive. he only took the fights he wanted and most of the time that was the baldomirs of the world. if the better fighters didnt exist then yes no criticism would be warranted but they did. same canelo-benavidez type of deal

Are you forgetting you're the same retard who said Rigondeaux had a great and elite win over RICO RAMOS on the sole and only basis that he was "ranked #1"?

Imagine had Floyd focused more on legacy

within the top 10 all time easily

                    21. TBud?

If you have the slightest reading comprehension you would know that I'm not taking anything away from Floyd's resume, or if this is anything close to being about that at all...
During his reign would you refer to Floyd as the "epitome of a champion"?? as someone who would gladly **** and fight anybody at anytime? hell naaa. he was never viewed that way... he wasn't viewed as someone who'd fearlessly fight anybody or someone who would challenge himself. he was often viewed as a ducker and has been acting like a clown many times over... as much as I admired his skills and talents in the boxing ring, those issues I've mentioned were real and there were not even half of all of it.
