I'm still convinced in Terrence Crawford. That guy against Errol Spence was one the most dominating performances I've ever seen. I know the judges had it close against Alvarez but I thought he won comfortably. In my opinion, nobody can beat him from 130-168 (I know he isn't fighting at 130). But you have to acknowledge that he's the best of this era (2015-2025).

This kind of points to my question. Are we rating who is the best P4P right now, or who is the historically best fighter who is still active(Best of the Era), ie your reference back to 2015 and Crawford's work at 130 lbs?

If its whose the best right now, then I doubt anything done before 2020 comes into play, as thats far enough back that no fighter is really the same as they were back then. If its best of the era, then its all fair game.

I think for P4P lists, we should avoid looking to far back.. I think it should be limited to max last 3yrs, maybe only last 2yrs...

If we go in the middle and say 2023 to today we have the following overview:

Crawford:

1. TKO Spence
2. UD Madrimov
3. UD Canelo

Usyk:

1. KO Dubois
2. MD Fury
3. UD Fury
4. KO Dubois

Inoue:

1. TKO Fulton
2. TKO Tapales
3. TKO Nery
4. TKO Doheny
5. TKO Joon Kim
6. TKO Cardenas
7. UD Akhmadaliev

Based on this, I'd give the nod to Usyk, then Inoue, then Crawford. What hurts Crawford is the mediocre win over Madrimov and inactivity. Inoue is fighting 3/4 times a year going through everyone in the division. Crawford took 13 months off to bulk up and it's just less impressive in my opinion. I definitely think Crawford would hold his own in a P4P imaginary fight with the other two, but I don't want to reward inactivity.

I would therefor go with Usyk, Inoue, Crawford.
