OK then so it's an easy opportunity for Bud to quick grab two titles at 160. Janibek is probably the most avoided guy in boxing today. He's another Golovkin. Everybody on the inside, all the marquee names treat Janibek like he's a probable KO loss and so they all run the other way. I see Bud doing the same unfortunately. Just too high risk.

Excuses. He's 32 years old and has made 5 world title defenses. Nobody gets ducked by literally every good fighter in a whole division. His fans are starting to sound like Andrade fans, giving him every excuse in the world for fighting no-hopers because he kept saying Canelo's name. If you can't get Canelo you move down to the next best guy on the list, you don't just continue fighting the worst opposition you can get away with.

What Bud must do is guard against complacency and overconfidence. Hopefully he trains, focus and prepares properly for Janibek this time around.

Unlike he did against Israil Madrimov. Which will be very difficult to do after coming down from the emotional high of defeating Canelo Alvarez.

That's true. But remember Douglas looked nowhere near as good as Tyson. Mayorga looked nowhere near as good as Forrest. Ali looked nowhere near as good as Foreman...

Because Janibek is nowhere near as good as 3G however he is young prime undefeated, Boxing Muppet Show will never order this fight. Hungry undefeated soviet champs are the least sought after to gamble their careers and legacy on. Look at how dangerous one Madrimov was; you can walk the street and find a Madrimov on every corner in those regions.

Janibek is more dangerous than canelo. I will be surprised if Bud actually fights him.

Unlike Canelo, Janibek is a young dangerous fighter in his prime, and he is no cash cow.
