Sure Tim's got the offensive skills to compete at the B and A level, but his lack of defensive skills was fully exposed against Murt. I feel like Tim is going to be another Jarrett Hurd, he's going to try and bring his defense up but will get caught between two styles. He has enough skill and power to compete with anyone in the division. Fundora is a freakish problem for the entire division and apparently Mendoza and the first Tim fight woke him up to the fact that he needed to use his length and height rather than brawling. He will be very difficult for anyone to beat.
Tim hurt him a few times in the rematch but took too many shots. Tszyu needs to work hard on his footwork and head movement, and taking his time and not being overconfident. I could see him winning another belt and putting on some entertaining fights. He ducks no one and is to be commended. He just has to learn to be a little more cerebral.👍 1Comment

This man's handlers failed him miserably, letting him get in there with Murtazaliev so soon after the Fundora disaster and not calling for the Fundora fight to be stopped on the cut.
It reminds me of Julius Indongo's handlers throwing him in there with Regis Prograis like six months after Crawford obliterated him. Absolute malpractice, and Indongo was never the same fighter again.👍 1Comment

This very well could be true.

I'm going to hold off judgement until he fights a few guys his size and without six inches in reach. Fundora has become a freakish problem for everyone in division since learning to fight behind his jab. I'd put money on him to stop Mendoza if they fought again.
Tim might be done but he has beaten some very good fighters and made it look easy before the first Fundora debacle. He makes for entertaining bouts so I'm curious to see his next fight. That is another thing about him, he isn't boring. He will get some big fights. Time will tell.👍 2Comment

You either put your big boy pants on and get right back at it or know your limits
Kills me how, when things are going great, the boxer is great
When a boxer gets exposed, it's the handlers fault.......
Keep feeding guys soft touches, they will never learn.

It's not about giving them soft touches. Throwing Indongo in there with Prograis six months after Crawford dismantled him was malpractice, though.

The boxer is the boss
Never forget
Me, I'd ALWAYS want to fight the best out there
Especially a guy just got done beating my ass
I'm sure that's how most of us would do things if we were boxers.

Yes and he should start at the top first. He needs to fire his entire management team for giving him bad career advice in taking on a world title fight so soon after his first loss.
It was a mistake to throw him to the wolves against Murtazaliev after the first Fundora loss. Those greedy bastards cashed him out and may have ruined his career in the process.Comment

Maybe a new team will help rejuvenate him somewhat and he'll get back in the W column but ultimately he is done.
He's not skilled at all really and has very little natural talent (harsh but true). Credit to him he is a massive overachiever but now his chin has gone and even his hearts in question.
I wish him well he seems a decent bloke.Comment
