First thing, crawford doesn't have at any point the style to beat A canelo. 147 canelo? He gets rolled, 154? He gets rolled. 160? Rolled. 168? (Man, watch out) Point being canelos style is a nightmare for crawford.

Everyone is confused about who crawford actually is. He's not a slick fighter, he's doesn't move his head well, his jab although great is inconsistent, he doesn't know how to play it cool when he's down or been rocked he starts looking for a shoot out. Chin questionable...

his footspeed & movement is overrated. These are all of the tools that you need to clearly beat a canelo.....

people put too much on the porter and spence wins. Porter was one foot in one foot out spence although had a ton left in the tank was still 70% of himself. Crawford had the best luck of any fighter in the last 15 years being at the right time right place......the man is indeed great, but he has been abnormally lucky too.

My prediction: crawford is gonna get dropped possibly a couple of times, his heart is gonna be broken wanting to quit on the stool. Busted eye, swollen face, broken heart. Ether a tko or a beat down decision win for canelo......

    98% prediction rate checking out.......
I won't be surprised if he really gets steamrolled.. and wouldn't be surprised too if he pulls it off... I don't know which one im hoping for since I have no horse in the race... but both would be a sight to see. Crawford fans also act like canelo is super slow and unskillful... lol. their skill gap is not close to being as big as the 3 division gap as nelo haters make it up to be...

and yup Crawford is not an ultra elusive target with masterful defense and footwork which what he will need to overcome such size and power deficit, he usually received some to give some -- with the exception maybe of the spence fight where he seldomly got hit.

if Crawford gets on his bike... make good counterpunches early and make nelo hesitant and respect him a bit then he's got a chance... but if he stood his ground and plant his punches I think nelo gets to him and folds him.. if nelo doesn't want to trade and play at the pace Crawford wants then there is also a huge chance for him to lose.. he should come out and mark his territory immediately and go for the hurting business.. and don't mind the return damage as he has an elite chin lol

I predict once Crawford feels Canelo's power he is going to switch real quick to a safety first mindset and lose a boring decision. He aint going to leave himself out there too much after feeling those shots even if they land in the arm. Same thing charlo did. And people keep saying Crawford aint Charlo, yeah hes not hes even SMALLER than charlo.

People vastly overrated Crawford's out of camp weight being near canelos, that just means he boiled down a lot in camp, who cares that is meaningless. And crawford talks about sparring large guys who cares that is sparring and that is not an elite class supper middleweight trying to KO you in 12 rounds.

Crawford is basically unproven since welterweight, his fight with madrimov he barely won and madrimov fights completely different than canelo.

Canelo would KO every signle fighter that crawford has ever fought except maybe madrimov if that guy runs. Meanwhile crawford wouldnt lose to multiple fighters Canelo fought, he would lose to atleast 6-10 fighters that Canelo has fought. mayweather, bivol, kovalev, GGG, Jacobs, Lara, Saunders, Plant, smith just off the top of my head. A lot more are atleast 50-50 like Trout

Crawford would need to use great distance control and his 74" reach to score points on the outside, a KO is out of the question with a guy who did 36 rounds with GGG. The problem is crawford stylistically is not an outside fighter, he likes to fight in range and get into exchanges to find his openings, he is asking to get wrecked by canelo if he does that which I think he is smart enough not to and then he will fight safety first and TRY to fight out range but that isnt his thing and its asking too much to change up your style at 38 years old after a 3 weight class jump.

I agree, Crawford will get knocked out. He’s overrated—his unbeaten record was carefully protected by Arum during his time with Top Rank.

GTFO! Crawford is not coming to lay down for Canelo. Canelo has slowed down significantly in the past few years.

Crawford is easily the more flexible and the overall better fighter of the two with a much higher Ring IQ. He makes adjustments.

Canelo is too predictable for Bud. I expect Crawford to put a real paint job on him.

I can sense some real panic among Canelo’s fan base. They are both nervous and anxious about Crawford defeating Canelo. I’ve never sense this much apprehension and fear among his fanboys since David Benavidez

The cynic in me tends to believe you are right. The judges tend to have a huge hard on for Canelo Alvarez no matter how badly he has been outclassed.

Bud may just have to back him up and take many more risks than usual to knock him out through a slugfest in order to win the fight.

I don't know what we're going to see, but what I'd like to see is Crawford pull the upset and then retire, effectively scattering the belts. Canelo has held them hostage long enough, and if he wants them back, let him face some actual competition.

Crawford could be catching Canelo at just the right time (like Spence)...he got whooped by Bivol and is past his best. However, this could also spectacularly BACKFIRE just like Canelo stepping up in weight and losing to Bivol. One thing's for sure, in order to become 3x undisputed champion and make history, he needs to take the belts from the champion CONVINCINGLY because if it's a close fight they'll just give it to Canelo. Also, Canelo probably has the best CHIN in the business so any knockdowns/knockouts are unlikely.

Kudos to Crawford for stepping up and daring to be great...he should be applauded for his bravery.
