I don't see it either. I'm hoping to be shocked, but at best for Bud, I see a clear UD for Canelo (judges included). At worst, he feels what Charlo felt and is dropped, possibly stopped. Even with a clearly declining Canelo, I see no path for a Crawford victory unless he out Bivols Bivol, and he's no Dmitry.

I also predict a fun opening round or two but then the fight will get extraordinarily boring once Bud feels the power differential.

I agree. When this fight start getting talked about after Crawford beat Spence, everyone dismissed it as a mismatch. Then over time people have convinced themselves it's a close fight with many picking Crawford to win and I'm not exactly sure why or what's changed.

This isn't skills versus size, it's skills versus size and skills. What are Crawford's advantages supposed to be? It's not even as though he's the younger man here, he's older than Canelo.

The only thing I can think is that people are swayed by an unbeaten record. For whatever reason, if Crawford had a one in the loss column I don't think nearly as many people would be giving him a shot.

Crawford is maybe the 147 goat. He's a phenom marvel, unified TWO divisions, Floyd unified nothing. Canelo is the manufactured overrated franchise who is protected because he makes a lot of people a lot of money. If Crawford is ALLOWED to beat the franchise he will. But he might be in it for the jackpot payday.
