I agree with Oscar about the IBF 10 lb rehydration clause. It's not ideal for many fighters, probably especially those who've dealt with rhabdomyolysis.

And Jonas is right, too, for choosing this fight over Murtazaliev. They're prizefighters after all. His reasoning is sound.
All good points. Generally, Lubin is in entertaining fights (Ramos fight excepted) as is Ortiz. Lubin can't make this a firefight, needs to look for counters when Ortiz makes mistakes and try to outbox him.

I don't hate this fight. There could be far worse.

Boring, weak come back. That's why they need people to replace you. You quit easily, Lazy ass.

Bakhram getting alot of hype based off that one win against Tszyu. The Chechen fighter struggled with an ancient Culcay in his only other noteworthy fight and went the distance with Valenzuela (who was stopped by Zayas and Alexis Rocha).

Maybe that win against Tszyu says more about Timmy than it does about Bakhram.

Lubin said no Bakhram Murtazaliev the IBF mandatory is now Josh Kelly

I am still puzzled after all these years as a top contender, first at 147 and now at 154 that Vergil Ortiz is not fighting for a title. What is he waiting for?

Let's hope a ban is coming for you. You clearly deserve it.

For Lubin, I couldn't have been happier for him. I believe he matches up a lot better against Vergil Ortiz than Bakhram Murtazaliev.

Vergil is a natural welterweight who has left his power behind at 147 after moving up to 154. I think Erickson has a very good chance of scoring the upset here. He is a live dog.

He has knocked out opponents who punches a lot harder than Vergil Ortiz. In addition, he has fought fighters who were naturally larger and stronger than Vergil Ortiz too.

Erickson may be a bit chinny but he can also hit. Which means that Ortiz needs to be very cautious against him and not become so reckless because he has been down before himself and has touched the canvas as well.

"docholiday", you sound like someone who was never liked by his own people, not being able to get girls or dudes to notice you, let alone get a date with anyone around you. Get your ******, moronic, low self-esteem having a*s off this site. You can't compete or win at anything you've ever tried, so you resort to making ignorant, racist remarks about individual that you can only wish you had a fraction of their amazing qualities. No surprise there, though: most racists are rejects of their own kind... Hitler is a perfect example of such low-life-trash.
