Floyd fans in reality know floyd looked poor against Madonna and pac and the excuse they use is floyd was more past prime? I honestly don't believe anyone who knows boxing is buying that though.

Where did I say Pacquaio was in his prime,
Pacquaio on the other hand fights and wins at world level for the following 4 years, including beating P4P Top 10 ranked fighters, THEN comes back 6 years after that and almost wins a world title again.
The man said Manny was shopworn, and you sitting here saying trying to prove he was notLast edited by djtmal; 08-06-2025, 05:19 AM.

Then proceeding that, Floyd fights 2 unranked guys and retires, Pacquaio on the other hand fights and wins at world level for the following 4 years, including beating P4P Top 10 ranked fighters, THEN comes back 6 years after that and almost wins a world title again.
And yet Floyd was the one in “better nick”? Make that make sense please.

Pac did have more wars than floyd. Most floyd fans think floyd best maidana, so I'm assuming think maidana was hitting air against floyd? That's not ageing for floyd, and don't count as a war, most floyd fans don't think maidens aggression was succesful.
Plus floyd fans aren't clear whether maidana aged floyd, or floyd was past prime already before even fighting maidana and that's why he struggled against maidana?Last edited by hugh grant; 08-06-2025, 06:36 AM.

Neither were in their prime. But Pacquaio was certainly looking like the fresher of the two at the time and he proved it by winning world titles 4 years after and nearly winning another one 10 years after.
to me floyd looked pretty floyd like he was always very consistent with his performances, pac had dipped far more from his top time, thats what i saw, u saw different, great for u

Ok, but how? You’re not addressing anything and just repeating the same crap.
Are you just choosing to put your fingers and your ears and ignore the facts or what?
You’ve cited Roach’s words as evidence for Pacquaio’s slide then seemingly choose to totally ignore that fact that same Freddie Roach deemed Floyd’s legs as “totally shot” 5 years prior to their fight. Does it only count one way, or how does it work? Enlighten me.
You’re basing Pacquaio’s supposed major slide on what exactly? Because he just totally dominated a P4P Top 10 fighter before he fought Floyd and then did the exact same thing after Floyd? Whereas Floyd on the other hand struggled twice with someone ranked #9 at WW and has never seen the P4P list and never beat a ranked fighter after his fight with Pacquaio. So which one seems more on the slide based on these objective facts?
Did you read the part where Pacquaio beat Keith Thurman to win a world title 4 years after he fought Floyd? Do you think Floyd could have even beaten a ranked fighter 4 years after that fight? I hazard a guess at a resounding no.
